Here i am giving a haircut with scissors on top and a 3 guard on the sides.In this video i will talk through the whole cut and give some tips for beginners.I did forget to recore me using the razor but it should be fine because the main focus is on learning the haircut and the techniques.I used my canon 6d to record and the rest is history.Thanks for watching.Like,comment and subscribe.

just started mastering the scissor over comb technique, definitely not as easy as it looks. You are a pro for sure hope to be as good as you one day Ricardo and thanks for all that you do for aspiring barbers like myself!. Not all barbers are willing to show their knowledge.

I prefer blending down as well. I've seen a video the other night from another barber who was cutting a mid-fade, but ended giving his client a military high fade. He was fading upward. Lmao!

Just cut my son’s hair for the second time. I used a 3 & 4 on the sides. Shears on top and cleaned up with the blending shears. I’m going to try the comb and clippers next time. Thanks for the video.

Pretty cool using the Shavette to clean up the neck. I typically buzz my head all one setting and use a safety razor to clean the back of my neck up. Hoping to learn a bit more about blending in hair before I take on cutting my sides and back different lengths like I want to do. Thanks for the vid

Great vid man, just have a quick question. When a client asks for a 3 around and scissors on top. Is it always going to requiere blending with another guard(3 1/2 & 4) to get rid of the line? Besides using scissors to blend?

Nice cut I'm in cosmo school and I cut my sons' hair, I only wish they let me do their brows they are sooo thick...lol I just want to clean them up. God I wish you was my Barber, since my old Barber retired it is now become a salon and I don't mean to be disrespectful but the women never get my hair right :( It seems the good old traditional barber is dying out only to be replaced by these unisex salons and I hate going to them :(

Im using a canon 6d.Only problem with it is slight aliasing.Canon dslrs are the best as far as dslrs go for video.I recomment 5d mark 2 and up.Even as low as the t2i and up will def do the job.Good luck man.

My son just got his haircut and unfortunately it was not by his usual stylist. the girl did a 2 on the back and sides and fingerlength scissor cut on top. The problem with it is, is that the scissor cuts are horizontal and not blended! you can see every cut she made on top of his head. Looks like a bunch of lines! How can I fix this myself? Any videos?

Great haircut! I live in Glastonbury but would drive to Norwich any day. I need a haircut like my profile pic or what ever you would advise. I have beard now too. Not sure what to do with it but again, would trust your professional opinion on what would work. Is there any way I can get an appointment this week at some point? Pretty rare that I find a barber that takes time and real pride.

So someone is a "douchebag" because they point out that there may be a more natural and stylish look and another way to achieve it which involves real skill. i 35 years in the industry and trained by the guys who started the first unisex hair salon in the world in the 60s and used to do the Beatles hair. You carry on shaving heads with graders and lining it off blunt though if it makes you happy.
