incidentally i was playing a tethys exile umbra run yesterday too! hadn't divine mastered some cards and made some progress. my run was super weird. got winged technology and chain of gems, so used as many morsels as it took to tank in front of 3 siren infused coldcaelias (had the tiny stone + 2 dupes). it was rough but it worked.
I had a run with similar problems a while back: smooth early game thanks to power picks but no real scaling for the end game. Learned that the Pyre is indeed a viable means of killing mini bosses.
The Calisto Protocal was very fun. However I couldn't get myself to do a 2nd play-through like I could with the Dead Space series. I wish the game was longer too.
@RisingDusk 5?!!?! Wow. I don't know what about The Calisto Protocol made me not able to replay it. I was super hyped about it since we never got a Dead Space 4. I play Dead Space 1 once a year, and I still don't get tired of it.
Tethys is my favorite champion, but wow is she bad. Getting her with a bad clan combo usually breaks my run streak. How would you buff Tethys to make her more playable?
@@RisingDusk Definitely would help with spikes and sweepers so at least she wouldn't get one-shot. I think offensively she feels okay, so I agree that just a tad of HP would go a long way.
Depends a lot on the specific turn, but oftentimes they were tanking for her, the enemy had sweep or something like that so the morsels were going to die anyway, or something like that. I don't always vocalize the exacts of "why" on each turn to save time, though.
