Nice video my friend. Now the time begins for fine tune to see at what regulator pressure along with the HT tension and what pellet does your gun shoot the best. I feel you can easily get tighter groups. You have done a great job.
When the groove is made take care to not damage the o'ring's bed (the groove must be only on the threaded portion). If the regulator is removed, insert the o'ring back in its place lifting the side that would touch the groove (a toothpick can be used to do this, taking advantage of the groove as a guide).
Very good video this helped me out I have huma regulator in my at44-10 it started leaking I put new O-rings on it still leaked I’m off to buy some thread tape see if your trick works 👍
Im going to try your file grooving technique on my AT44 .25 rather than using small gap when retightening. Have Audrius reg and am having difficulty maintaining consistency and also adequate fps (too low). Just hope it don't leak.

The regulator spring needs to be at atmospheric pressure, otherwise it will not work right and probably end up being blocked. Some old regulator models need a hole to be drilled on the air cylinder, others just the removal of an o'ring and reversible modifications (a groove on the output valve thread or to not screw the output valve completely).
Great video but you missed 1 very important step, the inside of the reservoir where the regulator body seal contacts the wall needs to be cleaned & ideally polished this would likely have stopped your leak and negated the need for ptfe tape. check roberts channel on instruction how to polish the inside of the reservoir Great work keep up the good work :-)
Se ajustar para as mesmas condições em que obtém os melhores agrupamentos (sweet spot), vai ficar pelo menos igual. A vantagem do regulador é conseguir maior quantidade de disparos com mínima variação de velocidade. Por exemplo: suponha que uma AT44 sem regulador tenha um sweet spot de 15 tiros (faixa de pressão onde a velocidade varia menos), uma AT44 com um regulador bem ajustado pode ter 50 ou mais tiros com variação mínima de velocidade.
Na verdade é uma AT44 4,5mm de carregamento manual (sem magazine). Estou sempre mudando a velocidade dela (via martelo somente) e também tenho dois cilindros, um original e outro com regulador, é possível ter baixa potência e grande autonomia, ou alta potência e poucos tiros.
