I don't know how you guys can keep up. We got about 6 inches only (In WISCONSIN HERE) and it was that heavy, wet, ball busting type of concrete snow. I would never own anything less than a 2 stage snow blower, and that was struggling to get though it. With you guys, some of that snow is so packed after being on those roofs, and when you drop the stuff off of those roofs and onto the driveways, that is some heavy stuff! As always, thanx for including the puppers. They are having a blast in this stuff it seems. Now give them some treato's for us!
I think there's promise for the Three Stage snowblowers but Cub Cadet can't seem to get enough quality control in the otherwise good design idea. Those must be coming from China. We need some American engineering
Born in Beloit and raised in the state line area I was lookin'at the weather expected there for family travel sake and thought I caught Milwaukee was supposed to be getting a big storm. I'm in Idaho now so appreciative of the local comments there. Go Packers next year.
Nice preview of what's heading further into the country. Travel advisories going out. Those doggos are so happy being outside. Grass or snow doesn't matter.
It's not everyday we get put under a Winter Storm Warning in Portland/Vancouver, but we did yesterday. I sit at about 250 ft elevation but I'm right up against the Cascade foothills and we got a good 8-9" of snow right here in the valley. Pretty epic snowstorm for _us._ Now it's CA's turn.
Such a great help! Watching your channel for months! Timed going to Mammoth thanks to you. Got out Tuesday about 11am. Going back to SD was bad as the wind was fierce, tall rigs were told to stop driving. RAIN all the way back. Watching your videos for the next break in the weather! Glad your Sunday forecast video is continuing. :) All the best to your and your CREWS!
6:10 The low pressure center stalled over Astoria, OR yesterday, which delayed progression of the storm southward -- but that was the _perfect_ meteorological setup for us living in Portland/Vancouver for snow yesterday. We finished what for us was an epic one-day snow storm. I got 8-9" at my house in Vancouver, right up close to the Cascade foothills at about 250 ft elevation. It'll start up at Mammoth today if it hasn't already.
Look up the "driving in Yakutia" video. They made a Double Pane insulated window/ windshield for their cars so the windows don't freeze up! Clear double sided adhesive and some acrylic and boom clear car windows!
But, did Betty Crocker make any dog biscuits??? Stay safe throughout this next storm. Its darn cold here with snow just up the road in the Santa Cruz mountains this evening. Cheers from Cupertino, California
The only thing I haven't seen with ya'all is the uncovering a grizzly bear den. That might be a fun prank to pull on the guys ... When I was working on the Alaska Pipeline the Teamsters that were "Heads" we called em', were digging snow caves on one of the warehousing pads and that day my job was to clear the snow piles from there and flatten more space with, I think a D-8 or other Cat about that size. I had no idea they were hiding out or digging these cubbies and they apparently had not been able to hear me working. They came blasting out of there like a house was afire and may have been more careful thereafter. Had I known what they were doing it would have been funny to prank them with a bear costume were one available. The other operators would gladly have joined in...
