I read the comment from 3 years back and sure that person most likely doesn't need a response back by now but for others who are curious... DRI differs in that it's Differential Reinforcement of Incompatible behavior where you would have the client do a behavior that is incompatible with the target behavior... if a students yelling or screaming for instance, an incompatible behavior would be asking them to take a drink of water. An incompatible behavior for hitting a desk would be having them hold something in their hand. Etc and etc.
