ABOUT US
Dave was born in Scotland and moved to London at 18 to attend drama school and pursue a career in musical theatre ... he's been pretty successful (well, I think so!) with his first job being Phantom Of The Opera in Londons West End! Dave is also pursuing a weight loss journey and is documenting his transformation over on his personal channel DaveDoesWeightloss.
Sophie was born in England and at 18 trained to be a primary school teacher, after graduating she decided it wasn't for her and not only left it all behind to launch her RU-vid channel SophieBelle she moved all the way from Cheshire to be with me in this crazy city that is London!
Here on our channel we want to document it all! Our holiday to Disney World, our wedding, moving house, our first pet and everything else that may come along! We hope you'll join us for the journey….

I totally get you on the job front, I finished uni in May and got rejected from about 40 jobs I applied for before I found my current one!

Keep your head up Sophie. There could be a million reasons the Disney Store rejected you and some of the reasons could be silly. At the end of the Day, the real Disney World did hire you so you always had that, and the local Disney Store just lost out.

Hi Sophie! I know exactly how you feel! I graduated at the end of July and naively thought I'd get a job straight away in my chosen field. I am still now searching for a full-time job and getting frustrated. I was in the same position as you a couple of weeks ago as I really wanted a job that I went for an interview at, and got rejected. I was quite confident I'd get it as it seemed like the perfect job and they seemed to be really interested in me. But everything happens for a reason and something better will come along :) Good luck! xx

lol Chip at the vet reminds me of my old dog who would sit in the chair beside me just like a human.. the job may have nothing to do with your skill it may have to do simply with the numbers game

Live life for you & Dave the best way YOU guys want to and remember you don’t need to justify what you do to anyone :) I’m sorry you didn’t get the Disney job, you would’ve been the perfect fit for the job, if I was the employer I would’ve totally employed you haha, but that’s the way the cookie crumbles sometimes but there’s something better on the way, I can feel it! i know how you feel sophie. iv been job hunting for over a year and applied for over 900 jobs and only got offered one which i had to turn down due to health reasons. i can get offered interviews. and never get offered anything. makes you feel so depressed when you get rejected. look at it this way its their loss they are missing out on a good employee. x

Aww Sophie hope you don’t get down to bad so sorry you didn’t get it but we love you guys and you will make it through I know it’s kinda off shot but just wondering have y’all thought of doing a Petrion don’t know if y’all thought maybe to help with the vlogs and the ability for it to help you guys go off on some adventures it might help but keep your head up we love you guys and know you will find a good one and there’s a reason for everything and glad you see the light in this situation we are all behind you much love to you guys!! Was this Disney in Paris or Orlando? Keep trying until you get the yes you desire. I got rejected by a job 3 times in a row. I called the same place yesterday, reminded them of my resume, interviewed again and got the job! Persistence pays off!

Hello Dave and Sophie, We're here in the US and were eagerly awaiting this video. We were so gutted to hear the news about the perceived Disney rejection. Me wife who is the most clever person that I know, said the you were definitely not rejected by Disney. The person who rejected you felt threatened by you that your whole ora. You exude Disney and I told my wife that you should and could definitely be a Princess, "Belle". Don't give up, always give 100% and never stop chasing your dreams. If you have a plan "B", then you'll always be plan "B". Keep trying and we are big fans from NJ.

Me and my Fiona discovered you and Dave's blog not that long ago however have got through heaps of them to then see your actually visiting places we are at all the time every time our dog Princess (Belle) sees Chip she tries to get his attention were starting up on here soon with videos going to Florida in January then heading north of Scotland, wouldn't be surprised if we bump into yous sometime. P.s if was Braehead Disney store its there loss you'd be so much better than rest of staff we chatted to other day :-)

I feel like you are still in with a chance for the Disney job, I've recruited loads of people and told them they will hear by X date but for whatever series of events we end up not getting back to them until a few days later. It also seems strange that they would have you come in for two interviews and then not even give you a courtesy rejection call, that's not very good form. But either way, whatever will be will be and if you don't get the job it's only because the universe has different plans for you! x

I work 48 hours a week at a primary school and altho it’s hard work my days are from 7 till 7 as I go to the gym after work too. I also use my Saturdays to vlog, edit & upload! It’s hard but you do manage your time once you get used to it!! Sorry to hear about Disney :( I hope you get something lovely soon! Xox

Sophie try not to feel too down about the job. From experience, it's often because someone else just has a specific thing they're looking for, or knows the manager or someone else who works there. It doesn't mean there's anything wrong with you or you did anything wrong x
