Thanks for the great demonstration. I have the KEF LS50 M and have ordered 2 T/9x's here in the states opening day, thinking they would be a great combination. I am so thrilled to see these set up exactly as I envisioned them in my home. Subscribed for more great information!

REL - Thank you, very much thank you for considering the aspect of being able to repair your products and not thrown out and replaced. Only repairable products last the longest! Of course that should be repairable at board/component level like old equipment was/is.

hey guys! thanks for the demo... easily perceived marked improvement with T9X's through my hifi man 400i headphones driven by topping A50s/D50s stack. please repeat with the T7X's asap... nice work!

I recently heard a T9x demo from Rob (on the right in this video) at another dealer. Unfortunately, RU-vid does not convey well the full effect of adding the subwoofers, which was really very noticeable "in the flesh" - in fact, much greater than I was expecting. Nevertheless, thanks to Martins for posting this thought provoking video. It is well worth getting an in person demo if you can.

Could hear a big difference with headphones. Very impressive. The Kefs sounded very nice on there own too. Big uplift on the lowest stuff

And just as you think REL cannot put any more logos on that sub the REL man comes out with a REL mask on. Who at REL company are responsible for logos all over your subs? Enough already. How can this be allowed to continue, especially mind boggling considering it contradicts everything you stand for otherwise, quality, taste, musicality and targets mainly audiophiles. It's not car audio for gangster rappers.

I prefer the sleeper look myself. I’m not a fan of logos. Just make one really nice logo with good materials and stay with that.

Hi, How you would connect best this subwoofer with a pair of kef ls50 wireless 2? What input? Does it make a good match with those speakers? I'm interested particularly in listening to music.

Why is the sound volume sow low?

Hopefully, the sound is at a reasonable level, but as a first go at something like this we might not have hit the mark in all aspects of the broadcast. To get any idea of this video it's important that you wear headphones, you are unlikely to hear any differences otherwise. Cheers

Hi, Thanks for the great presentation. What size is this room using the Tx9 subs? I am thinking about using the same LS50 Meta and a pair of Tx9 or Tx7 subwoofers. TIA.

Are the subs' high-level cables connected to the back of the KEF speakers (as opposed to the back of the Nait 5si)?

I absolutely love REL. However the poor sound level of this video really destroy any creditability of this review, esp one all about sound. Also, why is the gain so much higher with T/9x compared with T/9i to the extend there is significant noise floor with T/9x.Suggest do some audio editing and publish again, please.

Hi David, Thanks for watching, and thanks for your comments. Just to clarify the A/B part of the demo is with and without the T9x, it is not a comparison of the T9i vs the T9x, subsequently, the bottom end difference you can detect in the video should be quite different! Also, as we are sure you know, it is important to listen to this on headphones, anything else wouldn't give you much of an idea on what happening. Thanks

There is a big difference via headphones over-ears. What is the name of the song? Thanks. Fantastic subs. I own a T7i and I am really satisfied with it. My plan was to buy another one this year. Probably now I cannot match it any more if the product is discontinued.

Hi Nadu, we're really pleased you could hear a difference. We used a pair of AKG c451b in ORTF configuration, through an RME interface. Best on headphones! The T7i is still an awesome subwoofer, if you were in need of pairing, we have a few left in stock, 3 to be exact. The track is called Storm by Lucille and the Seals, A local band to Norwich. It's hard to to notice the difference at home, unless you already have a sub. My little Kef LSXs sounded the same with and without subs.

Dumb question, maybe - Is it that bad over there that you have to show you are wearing masks in any public setting? - I say 'have to show', because there have been lots of videos of politicians not wearing a mask until they get within a few feet of the camera view, then put it on for display purposes.
