I have been playing around with larger loose curls around the frame of my face and I really like that! I really do believe I will continue to get perms :) I guess that is the way my stylist wants to do it - with the hi- lights first before perm. Not sure why but I can ask her about that. I too cannot wait to see the grey !!

@@vivianpratte Would be good if you could ask her cos it would be interesting to find out. Theres a lot of confusion and different views online about having hi-lights and perm together. Theres quite a few perm videos on youtube and quite a few videos on cap hi-lights, but nothing specifically on getting 1 and then the other together in planned quick succession. What about doing a 2 part mini-series of videos on your experience when the time comes? You could do part 1 which is into, description of desired final look, and in-depth technical explanation about the order of the 2 processes, followed by time lapse footage of getting your cap hi-lights done in the salon. Part 2 could discuss your experience gained from your previous perm and how it settled, choice of rod sizes and placement for the desired curl patten and positioning for the new perm, followed by time lapse footage of your stylist doing the full perm process in the salon. You could finish with an outro of the final look. You would then have scope to do follow-up videos on washing/styling etc. once perm has settled. There would also be future scope to do additional videos on how you maintain/refresh your hi-lights and perm on an ongoing basis. There is nothing in-depth technical and wholistic like this on youtube at the moment, and there is currently a rapidly growing demand for perms, often from people who already hav got or want hi-lights also. You would be provideing something unique here, and i bet you would get 1M+ views!!! What do you think? Would you be interested in making some in-depth videos like this? Would be very interesting and educational, and i think you could help a lot of people if you did!

There's no better feeling on earth than when you've finally put the woollen jumpers and socks away, and feel the thongs between your toes again for the first time of the season! Even better with a fresh new look to go with it! Problem is we've got winter to get through first! Ah well!!!

I don't want to go smaller because I will look like a poodle! I am sticking with silver :) But I am shortening my hair... I can't wait to see how it will look!!

@@vivianpratte I don't think you would lol! If you're worried about that, have you thought about mixing rods that are the same size as last time with some a size smaller? This would give the extra body of the smaller curls with the bigger ones softening the effect - best of both worlds! Silver will look beautiful! Are you doing full head highlights? I think you should! When are you getting this done?

@@emmariley2422 I'm thinking of doing this in March. I'll pass that by my stylist and see about the different size rods :) I'm only doing silver on my bangs and underneath my hair - I saw this on Pinterest and it was gorgeous!

@@vivianpratte It's worth having the conversation - will look great on you! Is it peek a boo highlights you're getting? Personally I think full head would really make the most of your curls, but I guess you could opt for this with the perm after next if you wanted. Are you taking us to the salon with you in march with a vid?

A diffuser is the attachment for the end of the blow dryer. Instead of the air blowing out straight and hard it comes out even and softer with the attachment. It's good for curls, it doesn't break up curls. Please do a video! I want to see
