The 4-7-8 "Deep Calm" method = Deep inhalations activate the sympathetic nervous system (SNS) while slow exhalations stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system (PSN) to help you feel calm and relaxed within minutes. Holding your breath in-between allows your cells to better absorb oxygen and produce carbon dioxide.
