The XY soundtrack is soooo underrated... And so calming... I wish we get a Pokemon Z soon. So I can enjoy Kalos once more before I move on with my life

want to hear a story? it was 2016, I was horribly depressed, and I really wanted to end my beautiful life. instead, I decided to buy a new Nintendo 3ds with Pokémon X. I started playing and for the first time since years I finally felt happy and joyful, and I wanted to live again. I instantly fell inspired by my virtual adventures and I decided to step out my comfort zone, started hanging out with my friends and I eventually started feeling happy again. you know, if it wasn't for Pokémon, I don't know where I will be now. thank you videogames, thank you Pokémon. it was also thanks to the wonderful ost that I felt so hopeful and inspired. :) I also started drawing again after years of hiatus and wow, I just can't describe how much Pokémon games are important to my life. from Pokémon red and blue to sword and shield!

i was 11 years old when these games came out, now i'am 18, ahhh... time flies away gen 6 is, 8 years old already.

Man, when I first got this game, I thought it would be one of those “play for about 30 minutes and never play it again” type of games (keep in mind that I had never played a Pokémon game up until this point), boy, I was wrong. This game changed my whole perspective of gaming as a whole. And i found it to be one of the best generations of Pokémon, now that I’ve played all of the games.

STORY TIME: So, I got my first 3ds when I was 10, but x & y didn't come out 'til I was 11, I am 16 now and I turn 17 in 7 months. I played the crap out of it. I remember how stoked I was to play it the first time 😢 I didn't get it for christmas and my little brothers did, all 3 in fact. But, it's ok because I didn't put it on my wish list haha, I asked for gift cards just incase I saw a different game I wanted. But, I still wanted Y. So, me and my mom went out before new years eve to the gamestop, then as soon as we walked out I was playing it. We had to get a couple of things at home depot, I played it in there too lol. I remember making my trainer black because that summer I had the most wicked tan ever haha. I remember right after we left the home depot we went home and had a new years party on new years eve the next day. I had already gotten to the 2nd gym. Then, fast forward a few days, it was the last week of break, and I got to spend it with my dad. 2 of my younger brothers were gone with their other side of the family, and I remember the winter vibe the house gave off as it snowed outside, I beat the game before we even left to go visit my dads side of the family which is why I went over there. I will never forget beating pokemon x & y. My favorite pokemon game. So now whenever I hear this music, it brings back memories of when I was playing it that whole week & a half. I put on this music last year along with a windwaker relaxing music compilation before I went to sleep every night, ever since my puberty intensified when I turned 14, my anxiety disorder and bipolar disorder have been off the charts, so this stuff calmed me down. I remember how great my 2017 december was because of this, and this last year 2018 december was pretty great too. Well, that's the end of the story lol 😄. Hope you guys had great holidays and a great new year!!! (Edit: I just wanted to leave the date I made this comment which was sometime in January of 2019 lol)

The Geosenge Town theme has to one of my favorites, idk it just has that sad barren feeling to it, like the sun is beginning to set in a quiet town and you're walking home after you just said goodbye for now to your bestfriend. Lol idk it just gives me the feels!

Love Serena's theme, snowbelle city, AZ's theme, unwavering heart and camphrier town. Sounds emo, and it can fill me with the feelings and image of the setting.... Perfect for a personality like mine. Also, the credits also makes me feel that, yeah, the world is connected in some sort of way, despite the languages that we speak. Thanks!

AZ’s story theme got me right in the feels...I actually came up with something of my own. This is in the Pokémon Swprd and Shield universe so minor spoilers ahead. In the Slumbering Weald, there was a certain trainer who, upon hearing the mysterious cry of a Pokémon, one very familiar. It was almost like the pained cry of a Charizard. The trainer ran towards the sound, and in front of a cliffside, this trainer climbed to the very top, almost slipping down. And upon her arrival to the top...a horrifying sight awaited her. Leon’s body, limbs sprawled out across the grass, blood seeping through his Champion Uniform. His Pokémon, Inteleon, Haxourus, Dragapult, Mr. Rime, Aegislash, and Charizard. Leon’s prized Pokémon, was bleeding out of various wounds on its body. The girl screamed in horror. Not knowing what had happened to her best friend’s brother and his loyal comrades. “LEON!!” She shouted, and rushed towards his body. He choked on air, struggling to breathe. “A-Allison..?” Came his pained groaning reply, of course the female trainer was in tears, clutching the body of the region’s beloved champion “Don’t try to sit up, just...please tell me what happened...” she mumbled, in a desperate daze “The Darkest Day, it returned in the form of a comet...I couldn’t stop it...but as you are a Child Of The Lily, you would be able to...” he cracked his signature smile for the last time, before handing the girl a pink jewel. “This is,” Leon started “The Dynamax diamond. I place it into your care...Please...” he coughed before continuing “Protect Hop...” then, his eyes lost their sparkle, and Leon passed from this world forever...his Pokémon following not soon after...A few months later, the same trainer Came to this exact spot, Raihan, the current champion following suit, gazed around the area, where the blood of Leon’s former team was shed... “This is where the greatest champion took his final breath...”

Unwavering Heart, Frost Cavern and Snowbelle City are my favorites of the bunch. But this OST is definitely a standout.

X and y were my first games they're not my favourite as I've played a few other gens but they'll always have a special place in my heart

Oh my god i love this game i remember when i first got it back when i was 7 or something. Me and my cousin went to gamestop together for my birthday and I got y and he got x. It was so fun to play through that game exploring kalos with my team. Stopping team flare and becoming champion. (That champion fight for me was hard) But it was such a fun game. Also still want pokemon z.

I lost my Pokemon x cartridge on a plane to the other side of the world and I never saw my first Pokemon game again, still wish to this day I didn’t loose it.

Even though White 2 was the first Pokémon game I got, X and Y was the first one that I really have a lot of memories of. Biking around Lumiose city, grinding Victory road, playing online at friends houses, watching the fireworks go off in that little mansion. Nostalgia is one son of a bitch. Regardless of what you think about the quality of X and Y or what it really signified for the franchise, you have to appreciate the incredible amount of model work game freak did for EVERY SINGLE POKEMON and handling the transition to the 3DS really well. Megas were fun but busted and the world was convincing but ultimately linear. Like every game afterwards, you can only dream.... Still a kickass soundtrack.

So much nostalgic. Right now, everyone is going crazy over DPP , saying it was nostalgic. Then when it gets remakes, it will be Black and White's turn. And then when BW gets remakes, XY will be in the light, possibly 10+ years later. And then SM... XY was my first Pokemon game I completed and SM was my first game. I am only in the fandom for a year now reeee.

The feeling expressed from these games is like grapejuice, rich taste, seems useless at first, but if looked at well it can be used for something spectacular, these games are like a foretold storybook, and the music makes it so much better, the nostalgia a catchy French tune can turn into is heart warming, my favorite installment in the series.

not many people will see this but man... this was my first ever legit play through of a pokemon game this the game which actually got me into pokemon i remember after my parents split i went with my mum and my stepdad and i found out i has a step brother and we are so close till this day he got x and i got y my first starter for gen 6 was actually fennekin because i liked fire types and i was into animals and i thought it was cool and then i could get nicknames and be called something else from Serena or Shauna and Trevor and then i got charmander and when it turned into charizard i was jaw dropped even though i had mega y charizard is still looked badass and it was so funny but i was so dissipointed that my fennekin turned into some witch pokemon it was fun then i did some wonder trades and got a lot of hacked pokemon like a magerna and a shiny gold hoopa which i transfered to oras ahhh then on my 9th bday ( my 15th birthday writing this ) i got my first ever pokemon card and i got a ex tyranitar and thats how i got into pokemon and then i watched the anime ash greninja was so cool then i wasnt able to get him in sun and moon after that my grandpa passed away and i havent seen him since i moved with my mum and we were close in 2017 and then my life went down hill so i bought sun and moon with my step brother and we were so hyped then i realised he was moving out and then he was the thing that makes me happy. i wish i could go back with not caring about anything in the world back to 2014-2017 then i lost my ds and now i have no idea where it is but if i find it the first thing ill do is play
