These are the Very Nice and Interesting Elevators at one of the only 4 remaining "Marriott Suites" Hotels in the world, this one being located in Clearwater Beach, Florida. I recently got to stay at this hotel in September, so stay tuned for the tour!!!! Anyways, these elevators are Older Otis Series 1 Traction with RELAY LOGIC CONTROLLERS!!!! How can I tell? Judging by the noises. Unlike many Otis Tractions from this time period, I could hear relays clicking as the elevators started up and when I pushed the buttons!!!! With that said, these are NOT Elevonic and they are probably some of the last relay controlled Otises' ever installed (from 1989)!!!!! These Elevators also have NO CHIMES either (except the lantern chime on one of the elevators, no floor passing chimes or call recognition on any of the elevators)!!!! This Hotel also was pretty heavily renovated this year, but despite that, along with the ridiculous Florida Codes, these are STILL ORIGINAL, and let's hope it stays that way!!!! These Elevators do not run the best, and aren't the smoothest I've been on, but keep in mind, these were maintained by KONE at some point judging by the sensors, and also, the certificate expired a while ago (they may not be maintained anymore thanks to the STUPID CODES and could get modded soon!!). These aren't super fast, but aren't super slow either. Not much else to say about these, but enjoy some rides on what are probably some of the last Relay Controlled Elevators Otis ever made!!!!
