Hi my name is Julien and I am the proud owner of this AWESOME channel! I'm an Elevator Enthusiast, an Aviation Enthusiast, train enthusiast, A hotel tourist and reviewer, a tech reviewer and more!!! I will do videos of all of the things above along with some other videos, but my channel is mostly about Elevators. I film mainly in Orlando, FL and Tampa, FL and cities and towns nearby, but I film a lot out of state and sometimes out of the country. My favorite elevator brand is OTIS, as they invented the first successful elevator and make very high quality elevators that are very fun to ride! My favs are OTIS Touch, Elevonic 401 and 411, Pop Out, Westies, Haughtons, Old Dovers, etc. and any type of Vintage or Antique Elevator, I love the most!!!! ESPECIALLY Manually Controlled Elevators!!! I enjoy filming videos for you all, and have a Sony Handycam AX-43 and Galaxy S22 Ultra for great video quality, So Grab some Coca Cola and enjoy my videos! And Please Subscribe, YOU WON'T REGRET IT!
Be forwarned if you go here. I was there today and I wasn't able to get in. By the OZK entrance the doors were locked and say 'delivery's only.,' Next to that door is access to an ATM. If you walk down the block you can see an entrance with two vintage square touch Otis elevators. That door was locked as well. These are tough to access unless you know where you're going. By the description I would guess you have to enter through as n entirely different building and walk through. I would love to see these if anyone can help.
This hotel is completely ruined now, even the main elevators which had the only bilingual grandma voice known to exist are now modded to Otis Compass 360 and completely ruined
From what I have checked on cosaccela.seattle.gov, I found no records of a potential modernisation as of now. They are usually listed in Conveyance Permits.
I believe these have Compass 360 now. During my most recent visit to Portland I didn't go in here but I believe I looked through the windows and looked this place up online either right before or right after my visit
From my research, you are indeed correct. Cab/fixture update only, otherwise original including controllers. Unfortunately this building does now have turnstiles.
I think this is (as of posting this comment) the tallest known and confirmed Armor installation, although it's certainly possible taller Armor installs exist in NYC.
I'm very late, but these are not Gen2s. None of the four towers have Gen2s. Towers 1 and 2 have custom Elevonic 411s, with the full standard fixtures suite. they travel at 400/500 FPM respectively. Tower 4 also has true elevonic 411s, that also go 400 FPM. tower 3's SPFs go 350 FPM.
You need to visit the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center because they have elevators that go up to 70 and 72. They’re also keycarded, but they also have a rare Otis voice. Idk if you have been there or not.
Can’t believe it!! These are for sure my favorite elevators. My first “high rise” elevator experience as a kid was at the Omni hotel in Chicago. Same kind of elevator.
This elevator must be featured in a popular series -- it is very grand.. /// Tennessee Theatre's elevator takes on a life of its own. The supernatural hunters/aiders *** arrive at the theatre to investigate strange occurrences. As they step inside, they notice that the elevator feels different; it's colder than usual, and an eerie glow emanates from around the buttons ...
