I often noticed and realized many times in my life that the feeling of shame and guilt stopped me from doing what I want or get where I want to. And stopped me from expressing my real self. 😭

I just self-h@rmed again. I told three people that I wouldn't anymore and I screwed up and did it again. I'm trying so hard, I really am. I feel so ashamed. Hearing that I don't have to be perfect immediately is so comforting.

I need help dealing with my shyness - I end up distancing myself from the people I like and spiralling into shame and guilt, and feeling like I'll never be able to change, as this has already happened thousands of times. How do I break out of this cycle?

Building self confidence. It all starts within you. I've done this through self care, positive affirmations, new experiences, and slowly getting in tune with the person I want to be. That's in the way I behave, dress, portray myself to others, etc. Having mood boards and then putting them in action

I was interested in the shell you used - it looked a lot like Pauā - where I am it is known as Taonga (treasure) and it has many associated meanings. It is often given as a gift to promote connectivity and harmony and is said to bring peace to the wearer

These last few years have been incredibly hard, and I’ve done so many things I’m not proud of. I’ve been on a path to recovery but recently had a relapse and fell back into my bad coping habits, which has been really hard to forgive myself for. I’m so scared I’ll always live with this guilt and shame, but I’m hoping that your video will help me begin to heal myself. Thank you for this 🩷

I'm glad this video gave you a moment to ease your path. As your username says, you are only human. Give yourself some grace as you find your way. Guilt and shame won't get you there any faster. They are distractions for the work of real change. Acceptance and forgiveness are better tools. Change comes from a deep love for ourselves.
