Better Intro is a mod for the 1996/1997 PC version of Sonic 3D Blast (which is a port of the Sega Saturn's version) that replaces the eye-hurting 15fps intro CGI with the smoother 30fps video found in the Sega Dreamcast Generator Vol 1 Demo disc. The formats are different between two files (AVI for the PC ver and SFD in the demo disc), so I had to re-encode using VirtualDub with Xvid codec to make the file size reasonable without losing a lot of quality, as old codecs made it incredibly large. I also included the audio from the Saturn version because it has higher quality than the PC one.
Unfortunately the SFD video is the same resolution as the original, so there's no hi-def here. At least your eyes won't be tortured anymore with better fps.
So before downloading and using this intro, MAKE SURE Xvid codec is installed. It can be found here:
