@@tos100returns is Christianity even a religion at that point? I'm not religious anymore but I grew up catholic. We had to attend Saturday school to learn about the history of catholisims, different prayers, the life of different saints, the rules of catholicism, the meaning of the practices (mass, communion, etc) and hardly ever actually studied the bibble. To be considered a catholic you had to be baptized, know the nicence creed (basically an oath professing everything that makes catholisicm what it is) do your first communion and finally do your confirmation. It's a little crazy that Christians can simply say they are and take what they want from the bibble.
Whenever I go to the beach, I see at least one woman wearing a thong bikini. I usually think to myself, “damn I need to work out,” or “wish I was that confident.” My kids (boys) never even notice them.

I'm not sure about the standard for which laws Jesus overturned or annulled from the Old Testament, but I do know that he set a priority for their importance. I don't know if tattoos are still considered bad or if it was a law to account for the time and region (such as the law of not eating pigs because they carried many diseases), but I do know that since tattoos can more or less be removed it isn't a completely condemning thing.

It's like their own of finding their own identities. Through different experiences that were previously unavailable to them. Or if anything, it could just be curiousity to see if whatever their parents didn't allow them to do was all that bad in the first place.
