As a 67 year old Woman, I am proud of these young Women. They love themselves, are proud of their bodies and stuck up for their rights to freely dress the way they want. It is up to Men , like this to control themselves, no matter what Women wear. If this Man can not control himself then he should get off the Public Beach and crawl into a cave.

There are many, many instances where women have been raped and murdered in their own homes. Some of those cases have been 60, 70 and 80 year old victims. In “MOST” rapes that are committed, the victims were NOT on drugs or alcohol, walking home late or wearing skimpy clothing. The percentage for those lame excuses is extremely low. Even if they did everything you claimed they “shouldn’t do” to lower the risk, that is not a reason for some perv to attack them and it doesn’t do anything to lower some fantom risk. A rapist doesn’t give two shits about what someone is wearing or doing at the time that they attack their victim.

I’m an older woman that lives at the coast and when I am at the beach/pool will wear whatever bathing suit I want, and every girl/woman should wear whatever they want to wear and no male should ever approach them to say anything, this dude is delusional and needs to stay home and keep to his own business, I wish I had of been there that day even though those young ladies stood up for themselves and not needing much help, this man projecting his beliefs on them is disgraceful

Honestly as a young adult lady, who grew op with those kinds of toxic beliefs. Where every single men I've known made it their business to remind us women that it's our fault for their sinful thoughts. After turning 18 and escaping that toxic community, I honestly belived that men are incapable to care about women's feelings when it came to these kinds of situations. 5 years later, and men like you constantly remind me, that I just so happen to be sorunded by assholes for the majority of my life, and that there are good men out there. As someone who grew up in a church exactly like this, I can promise that the more we have on him the more he feels right. They always tell themselves that they prosecuted Jesus, and so if they get hate then they're exactly like him and they're doing the right thing.

This is prime example of how young girls are treated in school. If a man cannot have the self control to mind his business when a woman is around then that’s his own fault. I do think there should be somewhat of a dress code in school (it sets a good precedent for standards to follow when kids grow up and enter the workforce) , but the Mormon-tier "no strapless dresses, no shirts that show any cleavage at all/no v-necks, no shorts that don't reach the end of your fingers when you stretch them out rule" is sexist, restrictive and weird. Like you don't need to be policing kids that hard?

I’ve seen so many stories about teachers sending girls to the principals office for wearing leggings, of all things. But you wear what’s appropriate for the setting. These girls are at the beach. Bikinis are appropriate at the beach. Leggings are comfortable and they completely cover your legs. Perfectly appropriate at school. I fully believe in clothing standards being appropriate.

In Europe, nobody would pay attention to them even if they were topless. The human body is not a big deal because everybody has one. In some countries you can even be naked at the beach. Fact is, that he was harrassing some normal women who just wanted to enjoy the beach. If I was there I would tell him to move someplace where the fashion laws are more to his liking, like Afghanistan. Yes, I could see him in a turban.

I have an hourglass body shape and a very full figure. I live in a very religious community, and no matter what I’m wearing, there’s always that one person who has to say something to me. I could be wearing sweatpants and a hoodie and I’d still get harassed. So I completely understand the anger and anxiety that comes out of these types of encounters. People just gotta learn to mind their own business instead of being all up in mine or other women’s.
I had that problem as well when I was a young woman. Also when I was out with my children when I was in my late 30 chasing us with bibles and tracts. Do I have a neon sign over my head that makes these types harass me?

Isn't it weird how intertwined our choices are? Women should definitely feel worthy of their bodies and be comfortable in them. I have two sons; 5 and 8 years old, and they don't have any issues with anyone wearing a bathing suit. Frankly, unless the material had Minecraft characters on it, they wouldn't even care. They would be having too much fun playing and being kids.
