I have Hornady 168 ELD-M you think 6gr titegroup would be fine with them? I bought some 190 SUB-X that I plan to use trailboss with. I have titgroup from loading 45ACP
It could also be to much sun. I find I get better results on partly cloudy/cloudy days. A piece of white paper(thinner the better for light transmission) on the sunny side can help.
Turn off the gas via the forward screw on the gas block, if you know it isn’t gonna cycle anyway. May change a lot for numbers. Also curious for the actual Db difference
First off the chronograph too close to the muzzle. They should be at least 6 ft away. Muzzle blast will interfere with a reading. Without a suppressor the muzzle blast it's going to be there with subsonic or standard velocity. The term subsonic is exactly that. You never hear the bullet breaking the sound barrier, Which is the whole point of subsonic with a suppressor. And the suppressors job is to disperse the gases of the muzzle blast
Unless you have waaaay too much time on your hands...... Loading the 308 for sub-sonic loads in silly and not the best choice in 30 cal. Just because you can doesn't mean you should. 300 BO was made for that and I can get MOA at 100 yds. It takes a special setup to go subsonic in an AR platform. Not everyone knows this. I've heard tell that people are doing this and you are one of them ...................................... Using a pistol powder in a rifle load is unwise at best. I hope your family tree divides more that what your video indicates ..........
