I would say have 2-3 extra magazines pre-loaded. Seems worth the extra cargo.

Or you have a mag that lets you single feed. Easy fix, just file down the bolt stop on the mag follower. Saved me many times on competitions.

AICS pattern mags don't usually have a bolt stop. I don't think most bolt action magazines do.

@Anoneemus Noename Thank you very much, I understand more of the real tactical possibilities now. I guess having like two mags (one in the gun and one for the spotter to reload) could be pretty handy but I definitely see how this skill is very important and would always be of good use. Come on, lets not overestimate that - unless you are duck or pig shooting, 1 perhaps 2 shots is usually enough when hunting. Hunting is not a war.

No kidding. 1 shot 1 kill for deer. 2 at most if you didn't get a good shot but even at that point, deer would have ran off into the trees. This is for hunting humans lol

It seems that anyone that can afford a rifle like his would be able to own more than one magazine. Not trying to bea wise a**. Just stating the obvious.
