Reloop RP 8000 mk2 vs Technics 1200s Mk7... but not really

Reloops are solid bro..nothing plastic about them. I have a pair of rp8000s, have them for 3yrs and they are as solid as the 1200s..either analog or digital. Try them out. ✌🏾

The performance pads are really useful for when your mixer doesn't have them :) Gives you more options. Like a 4 channel club mixer for example. You have your cue points there, without the need for an extra controller. It may be a niche thing, but extra functionality for less money (than Technics) is win/win.

Still have my Technics 1200 MK2 s, motor still strong pitch still Dead on..

I'm definitely more interested in the reloops over the Technics, because I've been waiting on these MK2s for the last 2 years. While I'm not sure I like the placement of the scroll knob on it, I am looking forward to all the other improvements over the OG 8000 as well as the new upgrades. Like the fact that you can pitch and tone play with actual vinyl now, is dope. I know Vestax had this as well, but they went the way of Technics so you can't really compare them to what's out now, except to do how they're similar or different. But dope video, keep up the dope work!

The mk7 have the most accurate digital pitch fader 🎚 for those djs that mix house , dance music & the sound quality when playing vinyl only it’s excellent.

How can you give a review and not actually use them in a video? I have had almost every version of a 1200 there rock solid however I have used the reloop mkII and there awesome

The cop filled my friends mk2’s with beer & he cleaned them up & they worked fine. He still had them 10 years later.

Reloops 7000s are tanks...rock solid

Right now the Reloop is at a better point cause if you are using the turntables on a controller you can use the pads for q points. I'm not 100% sure on this, this is the issue i ran into with my set up.

in the future they gust use Blu tooth headshell it nice because directly to phone or computer no wire and perfect dj jazz Jeff say great idea

I just inherited a old DJ console made for a 19 mixer an 2 turntables. Got nothing to do but throw away more money so the Reloop comes to mind because there aren't any 19 Serato mixers around or desktop ones with rack mount kit. Reloop solves my scrolling, loading, cur issues. Don't wanna use the laptop mouse. Especially if I get an Analog mixer.

No disrespect, bu How you do a review but never use them? Lol Reloops are not "plasticky" at all. Very solid. I'll give you one dislike from me....I cant do a classic break stop with the reloops. I'm curious if the new ones can do them?

Technics SL-1200/1210 no matter which model and series is the Professional DJ Standard from 1979-2019 and always will be 😀👍🎼🎶Great.

The pitch fader on the RP-8000 is so silky smooth compared to the SL-1210 MK2 and M5G which feels clunky in comparison.

It makes a difference and none of you have looked for it yet I know it very well If you put the needle on the disc and turn up the volume you will hear distortion from the speakers in a separate different channel try it do the Technics is the best test overtakes and the Pioneer

Technics is like pioneer. Name only plenty of products that were better and cheaper. Like back in 1999 i had the vestax d3s mk2. Much bettet turntable. Fine pitch.digital display 12.6% joystick pitch bend ultra high 3kg of torque straight tonearm which i found better than s shape. To this day 23 years later work like a charm. These yhinfs are still beasts. I wush they kept fine pitch over digital pitch. Still big difference

I'ma go the Reloop thanks. Never owned a Reloop but had a Stanton STR8-150 which is a Hanpin at heart. I had it for 15 years, never ever ever had any issues, did not have much deviance on pitch, has more features, and build including torque is super solid. It is far better than my Technics 1200 Mk2s both of which I had to get serviced twice in 20 years to get the pitch to stay close to what it should be. If you believe the quality of the top tier Hanpins is not up to scratch then you are just biased and have absolutely no idea you are, pure and simple. Meanwhile DJs like DJ Lord have been using Reloop for a decade and swear by them. I've got friends who've had other Hanpin top tier turntables and love them. So, really, if you still continue to harp on about how Technics is better quality overall you are just as brain-washed as the typical Apple fanboi, period.

DJ angelo had design input on the 8000s. A few others too.

the original Technics SL1200 and SL1210 did not have the new coreless motors. so now consumers need to choose between brushless or coreless. And yes the Reloop are hanpins made in China but if you get one without any issues such as toner arm rattle or wobbly platter you could be onto a winner. Many listeners who own the Technics prefer the reloop Rp7000 mk2 over the old technics Sl L1200s check the reviews.

Reloops are like the modern day vestax, they should by the patent for the vestax c1 and make their own version

So the sl1200 mk7 Technics has coreless motor. Reloop rp7000mk2 and rp8000 has brushless motor. Now upon investigations the brushless motor lasts longer then the coreless motor which has brushes. The coreless brushes in the coreless motors wear out after some time. Did Technics mentions this about coreless motors.

How can you compare a chinese oem turntable to technics? Technicaly Reloop crushes Technics with specs on paper but in reality you get a cheap mass produced garbage, i.eg. badly casted platters, lose toneram, ect. There is a reason Technics' mk7 costs $1000 and it's called precision and durability. The only fact reloop's rp8000 and 7000 mk2's seem better than (artificial) competitors it's that they have the motor and tonearm copied from Technics' patents which ended a while ago. In conclusion: every single turntable on the market at this moment (excluding Technics and Numark) is manufactured by the Hanpin company in China. They are all THE SAME no matter what brand they are. Personally I take Numark out of equasion as it is of low quality even though it's not from Hanpin. Technics, on the other hand is made rock solid and with great weight on quality control. How much do they pay you guys to lie to people that there is a variety of products? Reloop, Stanton, Audio Technica, Pioneer, Dj Tech - this is made in one factory. Period. No homo.
