Koyomi Araragi dude, klonoa was so much fun. those were the games that make me want to try 100%. i doubt it'd ever get a new game or even a remaster. heck I'd take it as a ps2 classic on the psn store so more people can enjoy how much fun that was
videogamedunkey I was thinking about mentioning it but it's on the Wii so it's not exactly the best place to get popularity, especially since the originals were on PlayStation (I will say though, the gameboy ones were pretty fun and they added some neat features not in the originals) another thing is I haven't played the remake so idk how good it is as a "remake" all i know is that supposedly most of Klonoa's lines are given to the blue orb guy (huepo?)
Koyomi Araragi Oh yeah, I've been searching for that shit for years. Honestly, I've tried searching 'weird cat rabbit thing game' and shit on google and nothing's came up but now my life is complete. I'm watching a play through now to get those sweet nostalgia waves
Wow! Did... did we like... watch the same video or something? Because I recognize that line. Mmmm, it's like we watch the same video or something. Weird ._.
OK «Gappy» It's easier for everyone to just ignore it and let people do their thing when you see something like that. Like if you walk by a stranger who says something you think sounds stupid. It's much easier to think to yourself 'wow, that was stupid' than it is to just call out the stranger and tell them they're stupid.
Oh the irony. See, What you've said and tried to explain is unnecessary and should be ignored instead of commented on... is exactly what you should've done. :D
I can watch any dunkey video and laugh. He makes literally any day better. Usually I would just write an interchangeable meme from the meme catalogue he has created, but I had to be real today. Thanks for being the best RU-vidr and never compromising quality, even through tough times.
@Rage virus and zombification are 2 diverse concepts And an elite gamer, no doubt. Dude plays blindfolded and a steering wheel with all games he plays.
hey let's sell 3 old ass games for 60 dollars even though they're worth like 15 altogether and aren't even enhanced for the switch in any way nintendo is a damn joke nowadays
@@taterthepenguin I've not played either games, but it looks like a remake along the lines of the spyro and crash games, where they completely remade the games, rather than one like Twilight Princess HD where they just increased the resolution. What's so bad about it?
Mike Man I just came here to say I rarely laugh. I find dunkey funny. But that ending was just expertly timed. I laughed and rewound it to see it again. Caught me off guard.
Man, I just discovered your channel and I gotta say that I hadn't had such a laugh with a videogame video in a long time. I had to pause it during the Conker pissing part xD
You should. It is rather humorous, too. VideoGameDunkey may like to demonstrate his advanced state of Tourette a bit too much, but he has witty game critiques and a knack for refined words.
if you could swap apes on the fly, many puzzles would be pretty much gone. alot of concept in donkey kong 64 is built on the fact that its not easy to reach the same place with every ape, and you have to find different ways to get there.
going from this video (2016) to videogame structure evolution (2020) really demonstrates taking a classic and revamping it into the best product possible
In the Spyro remaster, I was finally able to free this one dragon I was never able to get to as a kid because of the janky flying and rigid object detection. 11/10 best remaster ever
i love how the combat is still totally broken and boring and there are still tonnes of bugs. i just downloaded a few mods that make the game look better than the remastered edition. i was hoping for an actual combat system but i guess they are too lazy
papadragon 69 can't tell if you're joking or just stupid the remastered verison was made for consoles because console skyrim was broken as fuck and took years to load and looked like shit. why do you think they gave pc players sse for free? because they know it isnt better than normal skyrim with mods you twit
That goldeneye remake was the first FPS I ever played So many great memories of playing and replaying that campaign trying to beat it One of the better games I've ever played as far as experience goes
Still waiting for EA to get their head out of their ass and remaster Star Wars BattleFront II. Don't change shit just combine the battlefront III graphics with the fucking god tier battlefront II gameplay and my money is in your pocket faster than the speed of light.
TehGuard Pandemic studios (the devs of battlefront2) were bought out by EA between 2007 and 2009 and then closed. So i would assume they own the rights to. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pandemic_Studios
Coodles Parks It is entirely possible that the rights for the battlefront games were left with the previous publisher which would be activision. So Activision may hold the rights for the battlefront games but EA holds the ONLY rights at the moment to make star wars games so IF i am right that means neither can make a remake without infringing serious copyright laws
"Skyrim remastered? C'mom Nintendo, what do you think you're pullin' here?" Holy shit, I just understood that this joke actually come true with Skyrim on Switch
Uh, no. It's completely fine for a handheld port. It's sort of like comparing a PS4/Xbox One game to a PC version. The PS4/Xbox One version doesn't run as smooth, it doesn't look as good, and there's other limitations, but it's still playable enough for people to enjoy. Same thing applies to the Switch version.
Hey Dunkey, I know this is an old video but there is a mod for the PC emulator that lets you use analog controls for Mario 64 DS. There's also a version for the Wii U's VC release and even one for when you're playing it on 3DS. I'm playing it on 3DS right now with a widescreen mod and it is more of a remix of Mario 64 rather than a straight up remake / remaster. Still a great time with lots of new mechanics and levels and the different characters play really different too. It's really fun way to revisit Mario 64!
Nah I don't think so, Leah has a much softer, higher pitched voice than that. The way she said her name and the "Dunkey, what're you doing calling here?" was not the right pitch.
I never saw much point in remaking games that still hold up perfectly well today. To me, the ideal candidate for a remake is a game with lots of technical problems that make it unpalatable in the present day, but that had excellent concepts, characters, lore, etc. Take Fallout 1. Great atmosphere, creative worldbuilding that makes you want to learn more, lovable characters. But when it comes to the actual gameplay it's a mess. Half the skills and perks are useless, combat is more RNG than strategy, several quests were cut due to time/budget constraints. This is prime remake material. The flaws are easily fixed and you don't have to sacrifice the strengths to fix them. You could even add in some more content while you're at it (because let's be honest, if it weren't for the sluggish turn-based combat slowing things down, the game would be short as hell). Unfortunately, the license is currently owned by Bethseda, and if they attempted a remake they would almost surely find some way to fuck it up.
@KT you make a good point, but things like definitive editions can't really be done with backwards compatibility, some systems use discs while others use cartridges, and some rereleases are on systems owned by other companies (ex: a PS4 game being rereleased on switch)
it actually was, you see, Dunkster has a long career as Skype pranker leading from the good old times. There are not a lot of youtube videos about it though, I guess, 2-3 at all, but I guess some were deleted in the process.
7:15 Rockstar: Are you saying to bring a port only for PS4 and Switch and for Microsoft to make the Xbox 360 version backwards compatible for Xbox One, S & X Series? you're the boss!
5:22 the art style was meant to mimic banjo and kazooie so when banjo and kazooie’s art style got torn apart limb by limb in front of it’s family conker’s bad fur day kept on trying to mimic banjo and kazooie but fortunately didn’t go too far.
dunky what are you doing calling here oh shit! * hangs up that was the best part, i wouldn't even care if that was the only part of the video, that was hillarious.
"Skyrim remastered? Come on nintendo! What do you think your pulling here?!" "Dunkey, what are you doing calling here??" "aw shit" One of the greatest exchanges
@@how_may_i_offend_you6611 Fuchsia is a genus of flowering plants that consists mostly of shrubs or small trees. The first to be scientifically described, Fuchsia triphylla, was discovered on the Caribbean island of Hispaniola about 1696-1697 by the French Minim monk and botanist, Charles Plumier, during his third expedition to the Greater Antilles. He named the new genus after German botanist Leonhart Fuchs.
Mayeur000Donz same happened when I booted up any game on the ps3. It just looks like they smothered Vaseline across the screen. It turns out, it always looked like that
“This is Heather Speaking.” Dunkey: Skyrim Remastered? Come on Nintendo, what do you think you’re pulling here. Heather: Dunkey, what do you think you’re doing calling here? Dunkey: *Oh shit*
+Archiwum Johnego PSX actually does stand for PS1 in a lot of circles, especially when talking about emulation. In this context, though, it has nothing to do with the PS1.
Snake Bite it's a joke. He parodied a video about a flame war between h3h3 productions and Leafy. It was called the JonTron rant where Dunkey claimed Jon hated Dunkey because he was black. Dunkey "corrected" him by saying he was Puerto Rican.
I noticed that there is still some ambient noise during the pause with the Walgreens lady. Which makes it that much better since it implies that it was still part of the actual phone conversation rather than silence spliced in there. A beautiful 3 seconds of silence
@@_ikako_ It didn't exactly sound like Leah to me, but there was a Skype sound at the end of the call, so obviously its scripted (the one at 4:53 for clarity)
I think the woman at the end is the true hero. She had the patience to listen to Dunkey's requests even though they sounded alien and ridiculous to her. 10.0- It has a little something for everyone
