Bro that is straight up sick!!! I would have loved to have been there but was too young and didn't know about Sublime yet. Always good to see a new band who completely blows your mind. I bet it was incredible seeing them live. I am actually creating a Sublime documentary and am interviewing sublime fans across the world. Was wondering if you would like to be interviewed about your experience watching live!

I'm on the east coast and l was listening to them in 92. The warped tour wasnt in my city in 95. I was going to go with my friend just to see Sublime, he was my ride we were in high school and he had a car. He ended up with the flu so we missed it. Then Brad died my senior year. Never got to see the original lineup.

Sublime packed out clubs in California and already had a hit song on k rock before Brad died. I think everyone knew sublime would have some level of success. It’s obvious if you understand music and Brad could hear how great his music was getting with his own ears.

Right?! The energy that they have in this is so sick, honestly sends ice through my veins. Brad is in it 1000% in this performance and just playing punk as fuck.

cant speak for them, but i was at that warped tour in south florida. friends and i were there to see a lot of the other bands (face to face, nufan, good riddance, etc) and we didnt even know who they were. i started listening to them after they got big and he was already dead by then. so im pretty sad that i had the chance to see them live but never knew who they were till it was too late

There is a very small version of Brad signing What I got playing with the Ziggens at a Bar in Long Beach. As far as Santeria, there is only 2 known live versions on VHS. The first one is in Anaheim at "The Shack" and the other is "Soundcheck Jam from Peteluma show I believe.

They knew the East coast crowd was brand new never been exposed to this style so i'm sure they wanted to play a little extra harder and faster to make a statement. All You Need has always been my top 5 favorite songs all time from them.

Indeed, i've noticed that the New Jersey shows the audio engineers were on point that day thank God to capture a great audio clarity of this show as well as the Stone Pony. If you listen to the boxset of "Everything Under The Sun" the song Great Stone was recorded live at the Stone Pony in 1995. I have so many Sublime bootlegs on my itunes that i just press play and enjoy. It makes me so happy a fellow huge Sublime like you gets to enjoy some nice audio quality like this which I can help make sound better! @@ChickenTV2 Eddie always puts out the best content, also letting you know i'm putting out an entire Documentary on Sublime for 2022. I'm currently editing it as we speak, it will take a while but i hope to put it out this year.

Very good analysis of the modern music industry and their game plan. They have essentially found their formula of what they have molded into today. Get a bunch of people with little to no music background who are attractive, give them voice lessons, hire 1-12 professional songwriters to write a hit song and you have the industry plants of today like Cardi B, K-Pop, Olivia Rodrigo, modern USA pop, etc, etc... You are right, Sublime stated in a few interviews that they wanted to be just like Bad Brains and was one of their biggest influences. Along the way though I believe they became so much more. As powerful of a genesis in what the Bad Brains created, Sublime became so much more than what the Brains could ever imagine or create either. The writing Genius of Bradley Nowell was self evident, he pulled influences from all over and they are by far one of the most widely based cross pollination artists to ever come into the music industry. I will exemplify this in my coming Documentary on Sublime.

This was the East coast's first time seeing Sublime and were not enlightened on the surfer rock vibe of music and culture from the West just yet. They were used to just regular 90s punk rock and its too bad they didn't appreciate what they were witnessing at the moment as much. I think half of the crowd was probably bewildered and didn't know what to think of it because they've literally never heard any music like that before.

I'm sure some of them never even heard a sound like that before.. With that base bumping the sweet melodies and that groove... They were probably just like what the f*** is this.. This is my all time favorite show when they do triple threat.

So glad some of their infamous Warped Tour shows was captured on camera. My favorite band of all time! Had a great time remastering this.

Preach! Brotha say it! Yup, incredible band, long live Sublime, without a doubt one of the most gifted musicians to ever live.

I EQ the Mids, Compression, Slight Reverb, a Limiter and or harmonic distortion for dither if needed, and Stereo Spread to give it depth, this is the common signal chain for Mastering. I have a B.S. degree in Audio Engineering, plus I clipped a few audio parts together and I also take time to look for footage and rare photos to edit them all together, this is not a short process. I will be doing more Sublime concerts.
