The landmark re-discovery of the last known pair of Rembrandt portraits in private hands. Join Art Critic Alastair Sooke as he uncovers the story behind this extraordinary find.
I find it hard to accept they were not seen in public for 200 years. Nobody can be sure of that many generations ago. However, Rembrandt was a genius and I hope they are verifiable as his work. Magnificent.
You didn't even listen to what they said, did you. They told you of the chain of provenance, but oh on, you know better. No one cares whether you "find it hard to accept". Do you always make a fool of yourself??
That seems to be by the hand of someone else…….. it’s very difficult to sell something without knowing it’s exact full provenance but in order to attribute it to Rembrandt they will do and say anything 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 they made a provenance that was not in any literary references or catalogs……. For over 200 years Interesting 🧐
