Me and my bro used to play this every day after school. My favorite memory of this game is that one time I did piccolo's charged uppercut which was just a hellacious rising kick, me and my bro were dumbasses that laughed at anything, and because the kick was a killing blow and I was feeling performative that I tried to replicate that kick to make fun of him and almost broke my neck on a chair behind me.

I don't care what anyone says, the Wii's motion controls definitely enhanced the experience of certain games, and this was definitely one of them.

This was the BT3 I grew up with. There were so many characters and transformations in this game, it was nuts. Stack up Goku (Mid) with Ki upgrades so you can nuke anything with a fully-charged Spirit Bomb.

This is actually how I heard of and played the Tenkaichi 2 and 3 games and the series in general. I didn't have a Playstation growing up so I had NO idea budokai games even existed. In fact, it wasn't until MANY years after this that I even learned that these games were also on the PS2.

We used to have tournaments in our neighborhood, in one of the rich kids' garage. He had the whole setup with giant plasma tv and stuff. We had bring our own Wii remotes though. I use to play Super 17 and just absorbed all ki attacks. Miss thoese days man.

I’m playing on the Wii right now. Almost done with the BT2 story, and then I’m hopping right over to 3. I love the Wii. Such a great little console, I have Shattered Dimensions coming this week too haha

I remember playing this on the Wii as a kid. My brother and I would play this on the weekends from school and we sometimes got into fights when one would beat the other. We grew out of that and are pretty chill and I have a big thing about sportsmanship since then(I played football). My favorite 'what if' was Devilman coming out to fight Frieza.

If you're looking to for more content on this game, I'd highly recommend trying the dragon sim mode. Basically you train for a boss fight every week, and each day you train a different way to increase your character's stats to juice up for the next battle. You can also use a day to rest up to regain health, as you do not recover between fights, or I believe there was some random chance stuff too, like you could try searching for the dragonballs, etc. It's a fun time, and I know I'd enjoy watching you get cooked doing it.

Of course I remember this Doto...I even played it's CRAPPY online, when Wii still had the servers up it was super laggy and also full of cheaters. Man I loved playing this on Wii, I would mimic SSJ2 Gohan's Father and Son Kamehameha with the Turtle hermit gi from the Boujack Unbound movie. When I was a kid I've bought this game because I've started watching DB for the first time after watching Boujack's movie, which was my first interaction ever with the franchise, I dare say I regret nothing of that choice, loved that game like no other

I had this version and it was amazing.

I certainly do; it's how I played Tenkaichi 2 and 3 (the best way as well). It has been odd watching your videos and seeing shape button prompts up and failing the rush and beam struggles (the wii remote waggle made it so easy). 1:30 - An Grandpa Gohan starts things off by wrecking Cell. The DP point system was a neat idea and I'm always happy to see the OG Dragon Ball characters getting the spotlight. 2:54 - It's a simple thing, but just performing the kamehameha motion in the Wii version is pure joy! 4:16 - Awww, was hoping Yajirobe would have been able to get off a Sensu Bean. Healing all that damage would have been hilarious. 6:20 - An a sucker punch as time runs out. How nefarious of the infamous... Frieza's Soldier. 9:28 - Strange; I thought Ghost Kamikaze attack had more tracking than that. I guess not though... that or Yajirbobe is just built different. His speed is on another level. 11:39 - An the Wii Remote shaking commences. Another just pure fun aspect of playing on the Wii! 15:06 - Justice spun itself out of the arena! 18:04 - Incredible reaction time to recover from the missed Assault and block the oncoming High Speed Rush.
