When you really think about it, Finn really shouldn't be shocked by almost dying on that train, 90% of finn's adventures had Finn almost dying and getting lucky
It was actually one of Finns past life selves who tried returning a necklace she stole from princess bubblegum and in doing so fell into a river of nuclear waste and later died from that.
I remember in the Spanish dub a lot of scenes were removed, they weren't even "gruesome" scenes but were removed for no reason, were badly done to the point you could see a frame or two of the deleted footage and broke the continuity of the episode as characters randomly scattered around the place with no explanation
I do actually remember Finn's birthday. Just saw Clue recently and realized both episodes took obvious inspiration from it. But it all goes back to Agatha Christie
Y'know, despite having grown up with early 2010s cartoons, I sometimes find myself thinking the 90s kids were right when talking about how crazy some of the stuff they got away with was in cartoons in their day and how you'd never see anything like that today. Then I remember episodes like this one exist.
I think there's an episode that explains the green ghost lady at the end of the chapter, i'm curious but at the same time i'm so lazy to watch adventure time...
I love how even in this post apocalyptic world of Ooo, suits are still a thing. Just because there is a complete societal collapse doesn’t mean we neglect standards!
Wanna know what sucks, leaving Adventure Time too early and missing some episodes. This was one of them for me,what's the masquerade episode about in a nutshell.
Marx's Sweet Ass Oh God, I saw the episode soooo long ago but I think it was about a fake party where Finn tries to pull a prank on Jake, but it turns out everyone is on Jake’s side and they prank Finn in the end, with some forshadowing at the end for an episode of season 5/6 (Don’t remember...) called _”The Vault”_
Finn, Jake, Beemo, Princess Bubblegum, Cinnamon Bun and Lumpy Space Princess are all invited to a masquerade mansion party by a mysterious host. Once they get there they find another note that says the host is a ghost that will possess one of them and murder the others. The rest of the ep is mostly them trying to find out who is possessed, while Jake thinks it is Finn pulling a prank. Partway through the ep, Finn admits he did set the party up himself, but starts freaking out when it seems like a ghost is actually killing his friends. Eventually Finn is the only one left and is cornered at the top of the house, and Jake reveals that he and Lady Rainicorn knew abt the prank Finn had planned and were pranking him instead, so no one rlly died. But while Finn was alone he was traumatized by an actual ghost (which is later revealed to be his past life) and everyone thinks he just imagined it...typical adventure time
Why is it that everyone hate "I only have a surprise for you" from fosters home for imaginary friends but not this episode? Not that I hated finn's birthday episode, just saying
SO! I SWEAR TO GOD! This is true, I was watching this particular episode and then after 2 or 3 more episodes I unlock my phone and see this in my recommendations.
Idiotic infinity Stones The most messed up thing about it for me since I was a kid was how nonchalantly Jake says it, like “WHAT THE FUCK, DUDE!?” Was he actually trying to murder him or was there a “gotcha moment,” off screen!? The earlier episodes of Adventure Time have this Flapjack sense of humor where I’m just left asking “WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH EVERYONE!?”
The first four seasons of adventure time are a weird fever dream of a show I used to watch all the time and after each episode from those seasons replays I recall it so strongly it’s not even funny but trying to recall it without starting to rewatching it is impossible But the show went from that To a solid grounded plot heavy show I wanna revisit however I don’t wanna trudge they 4 seasons of half fever dreams
All these reuploads of the old episode are making me wonder why these didn’t weird me out years ago, Remember the very first episode where Finn didn’t know 2 + 2?
