This show is SO good

They've done a fantastic job at making Melshi and Andor genuinely look younger.

I’m a fan. The small bits of dialog Melshie has in Rogue One when he’s in the Area of Operation shows clarity in communication. “Master switch. Describe. What are we looking for?” He has another moment on Comms where he says the same thing restated three different ways. Unambiguous for clarity in combat operations. So of course this is the guy that tells everyone to call Keef by his name. Totally consistent.

Hell yes, the guy that Cassian told to "light it up" in Rogue One which started the whole battle on Scarif. Love how they give such a minor character more depth.

Great choice to reprise a Rogue One character and connect stories. Andor series is knocking it out of the park.

Melshi is the Wedge Antilles of Rogue One. I hope he appears in Andor Season 2. Would love to learn more about him.

They made good choices with Melshi's hair and beard to make him look younger than in Rogue One - I wish I looked younger than I did 6 years ago! 😅

I actually figured it out my second watch through. I just felt I’d seen him before and looked it up. Was right in my thinking.

Andor is full of actors who have been on British TV. Therefore Duncan Pow stood out for me in Rogue One and I spotted him immediately in Andor. Love the continuity, Andor is world-building.

Though Tony Gilroy may have quoted to "not even liking star wars" which upset many fans. But that doesn't mean he would compromise his craft, he gave his best effort to star wars out of respect to his art, and star wars has been better for it. He doesn't compromise his vision, and delivers on a product that is near impossible to land. My favorite noticable difference between the show and Rogue One, is how much more disciplined his character had become. I'm really excited to see that part develop

I like how they go back to a dead character's past, its like they can keep living on.

You can seen andor anxiety knowing this place would break him within a few months. Nothing is more precious than freedom and health, it's worth fighting and dying for.

Yes! I hate shorts in general but yours are worth watching. I also didn't think I would find Smeagol in this episode too :D I do always wonder why bother making prisoners work. Couldn't droids or machines do the same thing more efficiently and accurately? I wonder if what they are making is thrown away and not a real part because it is meant to train them to be subservient workers. This actually might make sense for reconditioning.

I had watched Rouge One a few times and I like having subtitles on, so when I saw Melshi in Andor, I thought that was so cool.

i just Realized it was the same guy when i rewatch Rogue One after Andor on the Jyn erso's speech scene on the ship, I felt so proud and felt worth it to watch this show

And this is why Andor is a great show and the sequel trilogy were garbage. They made the effort to tie a small character from Rogue One back to the show and flesh him out, not only making a neat connection for fans but reframing his history with Cassian in the movie. That's storytelling.

I would like to see some of these special forces ops in Season 2... We seem to be stuck on the Prison saga right now. But the thought of a Season 2 of other missions, even possibilities of cameo appearances of other characters from in the timeline would be very intriguing for a season 2.

I thought he looked familiar, but Im a tad bummed because that means this character likely died on that planet with Andor in Rogue One. Loving this show so far, I really hope we get to see more of Andy Serkis after the escape...was bummed we didn't see his character make it out
