Any episode of Hogan's Heroes that includes Leon Askin portraying General Burkhalter is worth watching, no matter how many times it has been viewed. In particular, my favorite encounter with him and Colonel Klink (played brilliantly by Werner Klemperer) occurs in season 3, episode 26. In my humble opinion, it's classic. By the way, both Askin and Klemperer were Jewish, as was Howard Caine, who portrayed Major Hochstetter, and the recently passed Robert Clary, who portrayed Corporal LeBeau. Oh, and the unforgettable Sgt.Schultz, hilariously portrayed by John Banner, was also Jewish from Austria.

I'm a huge fan of James Cagney. Cagney's last starring role was in Billy Wilder's film One,Two,Three, in which Askin had a small, yet hilarious part as a Russian official.
