Dude, Taeyang’s “Wedding Dress” freakin exploded amongst the Asian American communities back in like ‘09/‘10. All my homies in high school started rocking Taeyang’s faux hawk and/or learned how to play it on the piano. It was nuts.
@@takingfalldamage Haha I don’t know about that. for us Midwest Asians we moved from Taeyang’s “Wedding Dress” to B2ST’s “Fiction” to Big Bang’s “Blue”. Now that I think about it, I did have that long Korean actor hair for a minute haha. Geez. It was just me tho, most the homies either kept the faux hawk or buzzcut.

Exactly! This is the only podcast I listen to. I love the topics and how natural they are and I love how it isn’t super long so it’s great to listen to. It’s also super helpful as a teen.

I really like BM, Peniel, and Ashley's chemistry. They compliment each other really well and they are so good in involving their guests in the conversation. I love watching/listening to dive podcasts so much, I got so hooked the first time I watch from them.

I was in senior year in high school ( I was 16) and I hadn't had my first kiss or a relationship, so my friends set me up with a guy who was interested in me, he used to walk me home and buy me food, that went for some months. One day I couldn't go to school because I was sick and he showed up in my house and invited me to play basketball with him and some of his friends at a nearby park, I agreed and while we were heading to the park we made a bet: whoever wins the match gets to ask the other for a prize, I lost and he asked for a kiss. Since we both agreed, I kissed him. The things didn't work out for us and I noticed my friend was interested in him. Long story short, they gave themselves a chance and started a relationship, years later they got married and now have a child. Now that I think about it, is kind of crazy how things ended up. Sorry if I made any grammar mistakes. English is not my first language.

I think what Peniel is talking about is a youth conference (YC) that’s held around the world. It’s a weekend filled with fellowship and concerts. Absolutely loved attending every year when I was in junior high. I think my first one Skillet attended too.
Anything that you do the first times are always gonna be scary but once you've done it and get over it, that surge to keep growing and be better feels pretty amazing.

My first Kpop song I heard was Nobody by Wondergirls! At the time I didn't even know it was apart of that genre lol. Then I came across Wedding Dress which is still such a jam, and then really got into Kpop in 2017 and still deep into it haha
