I have the Remington and like it a lot. I had different brand that was more like what they'd use at a barber shop, and it was good for cutting other people's hair, but not my own. The Remington was fantastic!

As a professional barber, wetting hair is a no no if you are using the clipper. In fact, a lot of advice you gave is wrong.

I noticed the new version of the short cut from Remington doesn't cut as well as the old version. It is also more difficult to cut around the ears with the new version.

I've used a Mangroomer for the past 3 years and will never go to a barber again. I can keep a fresh hairstyle cutting my own hair and saving over $40 a month. I do cut my hair low.

Thanks for this video. I had the Mangroomer for a couple of cuts then it did not work (the company clearly unloaded a dud on me). Now waiting for the Remington...the joys of bachelorhood during a pandemic!

Watched this video a couple of times, and I have to say that i think that it really depends on personal preference. I cut my own hair and use several different types of clippers. I like all of them but Remington. They are known for cheap product. I don’t have a Remington clipper but I did have an electric razor a long time ago with them and the darn thing actually broke in half. I do not trust Remington at all. Now for clippers, you got Wahl and Andys. And then you have Auster fast and classic. I have Wahl and the Chemei 1986 and they are all great. I have also a trimmer from Philips that can convert into a clipper. But Remington is cheap. The other thing you don’t want to do when cutting your hair or someone’s hair with clippers is really drench it with spray or water because the clippers will pull. Now if you are using scissors to cut then yes. So it is the opposite. With clippers or any trimmers do not use water. It will pull the hair and not give a smooth cut.

I bought the same Remington as you when I realized I had to cut my own hair haha it works great!

I feel sorry for the kid. She has no idea what she's doing and he's paying the price for it.

Only problem I reading is the remington doesn't have a lithium battery in it. So once the battery dies, you're screwed and have to keep it plugged in to use it. While the Mangroomer does have a lithium battery in it.
