Tom composed this in 2000. Here, Will performs it at the 2022 West Coast Ragtime Festival. Join the Tom Brier Discord server / discord to chat about ragtime, Tom, and see any updates about him that may come along.
Ode to Tom Brier Throughout a trudge of muck and mire percipitation cuts the mix It's the hardly tentative raindrops that you call fingertips While the weather always changes A rainbow will remain unwavering like a distant melody And our eggs of memory stay cracked all the same Gratitude deposits For the comforting provisions Kind fire tends to spit In the blind face of misery (Lovely performance, hope everyone is doing well, happy 2023)
That would be up to his parents to decide, as his caretakers. Closest thing has been a couple of birthday parties for him, in 2019 and 2022, with invited/approved guests.
Not at the moment, unfortunately. There are people attempting to transcribe his performances, but they're not true to the original sheet music as Tom published them.
@@Keeper1st Thanks for the reply! Yeah, I’ve seen some transcriptions on Musescore, but I heard there are official scores released by Tom, so I was wondering if they are still available.
He should be doing just fine as of July of this year, though still under heavy care. There was an article published very recently about an award he won.
why would you say that? How in any way has Keeper1st been negative or pessimistic? If anything he's been a beacon of light into the situation of Tom Brier and I thank him for it.
