I remember Drake Remore, the neurosurgeon in Days of Our Lives.

Dude, the small arrow at the bottom of enemies and mousing over them shows you pretty much exactly what an enemy will do on its turn....

Oh dang, that character motivation at the start hits HARD. Rip and Tear is nice and all, but avenge your wife while not losing your humanity to fulfill her dying wish is so much more fulfilling for a man.

I played through the demo and found it pretty fun! The next mission lets you play around a lot more with stealth mechanics towards the end, which shows a whole new cool layer to the game. Same with the perks available to each character. Sadly the demo ends after that. But I'm looking forward to the full game!

A Kingdom of Heaven reference, and a specific one at that. Splat really is the best.

These game does not need voicewd dialogues. Splattercat will voice act every single NPC and nail the mood flawlessly.

At the cross road of cool games like Stoneshard, Last spell or Into the breach and it stands on its own two feet. Will keep an eye on it

the infested have a very wolf/wild animal like mentality from what i can tell they focus on the last person to enter their line of sight first, then if attacked they swap to whoever attacked them last

Ok the "We don't buy weapons off the rack" made me laugh out loud. Completely unexpected and perfect! Reminds me a lot of Stoneshard. Compare and contrast?

Mobs might be focused entirely on immediate line of site for targets. only distracted by direct attacks from outside of vision.

I hate it when there are swords lying on the ground all around you, but your character is going to the goddamn armory to get one. Why?!

I enjoy your commentary as much or more than the games you feature, Splat! I will, however, dispute you on the matter of peas. I also hated them -- as a kid. School cafeterias do terrible things to all vegetables, and canning as well. In the years since, I've consistently found that preparing veggies only to a point where they're still bright green has helped me enjoy things like peas and green beans that years of institutional cooking had ruined for me. Sauteeing, stir frying, or oven baking them with a touch of healthy oil (olive, coconut, etc), garlic, salt, pepper, and whatever fun spices you want helps, but even just steamed basic veg can be pretty tasty when it's not cooked to death. But in the end, if that still isn't enough to help you rediscover and enjoy them after a second chance, then that's cool too. :D

This looks extremely fun, feels like Into the Breach gameplay but with more RPG elements. I tried so hard to enjoy Into the Breach but I hated everything about that game other than the turn to turn gameplay and I never felt a strong reason to play it for more than a few hours.

Does it have a procedural mission generator - do I get to pick and choose what missions I take after the tutorial, giving it a strategic layer? That'd make or break this for me.

I love the small touch of the outsider speaking differently to the main character to show he's foreign to this place instead of just the belief differences.

Waiting for so many gamesss. Goblin Stone is something I want to play now!

Pickled peas sound pretty tasty to me, but I like both peas and pickles. Especially sugar snap peas or snow peas would work really well for that, I think.

OMG! Shinning Force II was my favourite SRPG for Genesis.

pretty interesting, but i would quickly get annoyed by the turn based movement. they should have free movement until an enemy is seen, then enter turn based movement.

Oh man I am so down for this, it is totally my jam. Sad the Kickstarter didn't fund, I wonder if people didn't look at it closely enough and dismissed it as a The Last Spell clone. Can't wait to see more of it.

That game kind of remind me of Stoneshard. I definitely want to give it a try when it releases and I hope that one day stoneshard also gets released (maybe 30 or 40 years from now)

To the DEVs of this game: 40 minutes of gameplay and only 1 type of zombie? Really? Where is the variety? I truly hope there are other type of mobs inserted in the future. Good luck.

Why do so many people hate peas? Peas are fine unless you cook them to mush like some culinary savage from the midwest, or England.
