You can save $1000's by building your own aircraft tug. This tug works perfect. Receiver configuration and parts list are at end of video. Be sure to check out the video of the tug in operation. • Remote Control Aircraf...
Very impressive - thanks for the parts list! Are you still happy with it? Any updates you would suggest besides dropping the lazy susan? BTW, I think your design on holding the wheel in is brilliant, particularly the little latch!
Hi Scott, would you have any details and /or build list for the carriage? I got lazy suzans now I just need to undestand how to mount them onto the frame and how to connect them to the servo's. Thanks for your help.
Wow, just wow!! What a phenomenal job on the design and implementation! Do you think with the upgrades that you made this would handle a 2,500lb 172 on a slight incline over hangar door railing?
Congrats on your project !!! Well Done !! Happy that I stumbled onto your video. I had never seen one like yours before, but seriously, it's so very close to what I've been envisioning and wanting to make. Watching your video, I couldn't stop thinking "yeah, that's exactly what I wanted to make !!! " The one exception in my planning is that I was thinking of using 450 watt motors because I'm on a grass field but it sounds like 2 x 350 watt motors is more than enough? I'd love to hear your thoughts on that. In any case, now I'm even more interested in getting it done. 🙂
Thanks! The 350 Watt motors have plenty of power and move My Cub and Bellanca Cruisair around with ease. I'm also on a grass strip. I do need push a little with the Bellanca to get it rolling as it runs out of traction if the grass is wet but the Bellanca is 2000 lbs
@@N3661a Hey Scott, thanks for replying, now I'm even more encouraged. I'm got a Tri-pacer, should work great !! Just need to figure out how to quietly sneak that into the budget .. LOL.. Where abouts are you hangared ? I'm in Manitoba (Norm)
