If your remote starter doesnt work and you are just about to spend hundreds on a new system, try this first. After 6 weeks of going crazy, and ignoring advice, this fixed it. No, it wasn't in Valet mode.
Same thing....I tried changing batteries, and I wasn't sure if it only took one or two batteries, also I see you are using 2025 batteries and I think mine are a bit smaller....I'll have to get those ones instead and try it again, hopefully I can get it working for the cold winter months!! Fingers Crossed! Mechanics are always saying it's not good anymore and want to sell you a whole new system that's over $400, well it's the pandemic now and I'm low on cash and not working, so I rather not be taken advantage of and try to get the problem fixed myself!
So this totally worked but to go even further, take the whole chip out and wipe the connectors where the buttons are at. Bunch of gunk came off that and now it works even better than just wiping the battery terminal.
Great video man, I've got one also it's an A-433 ..have no idea how old it is (it doesn't have the Ant) ..now if the remote seems to work ..like the little blue light comes on and stuff but doesn't appear to connect with my ('06 Trailblazer) any ideas ahead of time to check on say under-dash wiring sorta' thing?
I have the same issue…blue light lits but it doesn’t connect with the receiver unless i open the remote and apply pressure on the IC before…pls is there any fix??
