Thanks! I couldn't find the info I needed anywhere else. My wife bought a used Toyota Highlander with the AutoStart HDR, NAH5603 (no manual). After replacing the batteries in the fob it quit communicating with the vehicle. There was no hood pin, and a reprogramming method I saw using the antenna button didn't work. After locating the control box under the dash and wiggling it free, I was able to access the button on the side. I held it down for 4-seconds, then held down the lock button on the remote. The horn started honking. I couldn't get it to stop by putting the key in the ignition and turning it off and on, but then I hit the lock button on the remote again and the horn stopped. The fob/remote now seems to be communicating properly with the control box once again! Thanks :-)
Thank you for the information my question is that sometimes the locking and unlocking of the doors is difficult to do i feel like as a bad signal.... I checked the batteries of the two remote controls, they are new and the interior locking and unlocking is done manually very well. thank you for your help

Thank you for this video it is very infomative. . I cannot find any information on what all the buttons, or combination of buttons do on the fob. I have a NAHTDK4 5 button fob. I am most concerned that I cannot start the car without using the fob and what happens if I lose the fob or the battery goes dead. Is there any way around this?
Thanks so much for your very speedy response. As this was a used car purchase I have no manual for the remote system. I did read that a combination of fob buttons could take you in and out of valet mode. I also found some instructions that referred to "sub menu". Vehicle is 2006 Suzuki areio.
+Lessco Electronics I cannot find the mention of a valet switch in my car manual. When I open the car with the key only, I cannot start the car unless I press on the "unlock" button on the fob. Is there a way around this?
@@Lesscoelectronics do these units come with a SH (433) 120 Antenna? i have one in my car that was installed when i purchased the car ,, the fob was broke but it came with a replacement with FCC ID: NAHTDK4 what i would like to know is if that remote is compatible with that antenna or did someone at some point switch the antenna for a different remote to work because i cant seem to get it to work its a NS 1074 Unit in the dash ,, it says i have the right fob when i look up the unit in the dash but when i search the antenna i get a similar looking fob but has a different FCC id : EZSNAH2503 that's what i get when searching the antenna
Tried pb button nothing happend Please anyone its 2012 honda crv and problem occur after battery died on car and had to boost , after that remote start stopped working ..(
i am having an issue with mine ,, original fob broke worked good for many years got a replacement but the hood pin is broke too,,, tried to program the new fob but the button will not do anything unless my hood is up and there is ground to the wire that goes to the hood pin , any ideas? is there a toggle switch on this units?
@@Lesscoelectronics what antenna does this unit come with in the box ? It's a NS 1074 ,, I have a Sh (433) 120 antenna ,, according to my searchs I should have a fmtw121 or fm122 antenna , the unit was in the car when I got it and the old owner bought a new fob because the old one broke during changing battery , so I'm not sure what FCC ID it had but the new one is FCC ID NAHTDK4 ,, I don't think it's compatible with the SH (433) 120M am I correct do you know
I have this exact same remote. Door locks work but the vehicle will not start. i hear what sounds like one click followed by two quick clicks. There is no hood pin. I cannot get manual at the Nordic site. Seems to not exist anymore.
last fall I had to replace the battery in my 2003 Honda Accord EX Coupe ever since then my command start tries to start the car but will not fire the engine the key fob still unlocks the doors locked them and Pop the Trunk not sure if this was because I replace the battery and it has to be reprogrammed any suggestions would be grateful
I just had Tiger Automotive take a look at it and all they had to do was reprogram it due to the fact that I had to replace my battery only cost 38 bucks done thank God cuz we just hit bad cold cold cold cold spell 31 feels like 40 with the windchill
@@Thoy28 ok, my autostart crank engine for 1 sec but this is not enough to start the engine and it never start just shutdown. Do you know how to Increase crank time so it will give enough to engine to start ?? Thanks
@@tteuvky Hi sorry I didn’t have that problem….tried checking the spark plug that your remote starter wire connected to…. Or programmed the remote again 👍
I have Nordic Start system. I watched this video and ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-95zQR3cFIvE.html; both are great but none of them solved my problem. I don't have hood pin installed and pressing the PB (push button) on the controller box did not work initially. Connecting the grey wire to ground on and off (as shown on the other video also didn't work). However I grounded the grey wire from the controller box for the duration of programming (can be connected to chassis ground or negative battery pole) and then used the push button as presented in the video and programming work just fine. RU-vid video suggest to watch for flickering lights however in my car the system is not connected to the lights so the lights didn't change state but I could hear relay clicking in the control box when I expected lights to come on or off. I only had to programm the new fob, the old one stayed programmed. For people having hood pin installed I would expect that that the hood should be open (to ground the grey wire) during the programming process.
I'm trying to reprogram a fob for mine ,, have the same issue ,, dont get any lights unless i connect the hood pin wire to ground anything special you did?
This is useless all I need to know is how many times to turn it on and off so I can program it so it'll start my car I don't need to know how to install it
