Remotely Connecting to my Security System... kinda

The Interlogix DL900 is a software that remotely connects to a security panel, such as my NX-8v2. From there, the panel can have its status observed and programming read and changed. It can be done through a modem, TCP/IP, or direct connection via the NX-588 module.
Unfortunately, I've only gotten through the hurdle of connecting the panel with a modem connection. I'll have to take some time to work out how to do the more fun stuff. Help is definitely appreciated!

Its been a year since you posted this video and probably came up with a solution. Nonetheless, two comments for others that come across this video. 1) I used a NX-590 module that has ethernet. Then the DL900 software/computer can sit on the network and communicate to the panel. 2) The error message may indicate that you access code is wrong which may be the problem you are encountering. Go to> Control Panel - Advanced- Download Access - Access code and set the code to the installer code for your unit. The installer code is not your disarm code but a code that allows programming the panel. These are nice security systems but finding user friendly configuration info is hard.

No solution from my end, haha! I’ll keep those things in mind the next time I experiment with it.
