@@BUDDIESReyJohn anyway thx for the video... i was thinking to buy gr fortuner. While browsing diesel mantenance i saw a video from a guy in the uk removing his van dpf easily, its located in the exhaust just like cat conberter. I thought 1gd dpf wont be much different.... how wrong i was 😂😂😂

Some of those hilux are on recall dpf

Your dpf now is block so you need to take it to your nearest toyota dealer for the dpf replacement

hi, no it is not but toyota has recalled these DPFs and injector assembly together so basically this is covered under Toyota warranty.

The squeaky noise can be heared inside on the dpf, its because of the restriction since its full.

Theres a restriction inside cause the filter is full mate , some can cause squeaking noise and some are not

Only prado is quite more difficult because of the space but hilux and fortuner with the same engine, very easy

not just that but Prado warranty time is 3.5 hours compared to 5 of Hilux.
