I just took the clip off once the alternator was off so that I could rotate it. Thanks for all the specs and sockets sizes! Took me all of 40 minutes.

Gracias por el video me ayudo mucho ,5:30 para quitar la conecion fue mas facil quitar el alternador y darle ahi mismo buelta y ya puedes quitar tu coneccion👍

If you remove the top bolt, loosen the bottom bolt, it will rotate enough to get better clearance to remove the plug, but the pick is still needed & worked perfect - I did use genuine Ford parts as they're now cheaper than remanufactured (Rock Auto has this alternator for about $325+tax,shipping,& core) both belts from Ford were $75
