The only tools used to remove the bearing were a large pair of channel locks, a harmonic wheel balancer puller kit, an impact gun, and two long bolts from the puller kit. Carrier is from a Dana 60 out of a Ford E350 Extended Cargo Van.
I've seen those videos before, I didn't want to take the temper out of the Carrier or take that chance with my torch. Maybe one day I'll try that and see if I can do that without causing permanant discoloration on the Carrier.
