Hi Everyone! Removing this tree for some reason was difficult for me. I'm not sure why. Now that it's gone, I can see how planting a healthy tree will add so much to our garden. Starting tomorrow, Belmont Nursery in Fresno, will be having a sale. Even though we're not ready to plant, we'll be purchasing a red Japanese Maple tree since they will be on sale. I'm really excited to see a pop of red foliage in that corner. Have a great day and thank you for stopping by. :)

I can appreciate your reluctance to remove the ailing Japanese maple. A red maple will be beautiful in its place. Thank you for sharing the information about the Belmont Nursery sale! Smiles, Stella

At first, the area felt so empty. This morning we went to Belmont as they opened and purchased a red one. Now I’m excited for the weather to cool so we can plant it.😊 Thank you Stella, have a great weekend. 🌞

I love Japanese Maples. Planning on putting one in our front yard as soon as the weather cools. So happy to see you today. Hope your mom is doing well❤

Aren’t they beautiful?! Looking forward to cooler weather, so we can get back out in the garden. My mom is doing well. She has a bit of cabin fever since she can’t drive until the end of September. Getting ready to visit her today. Thank you for asking. 😊

I just planted 2 maples in pots, one red & one green. Thanks for the information about Belmont Nursery sale. I don't do Instagram, I'm glad you mentioned it 🙂

Oh, I know what you mean about cutting a tree down, it just kills me! We had a clump River Birch tree in our front yard and the roots were starting to lift our sidewalk up, so my husband said we had to cut it down, I just felt so sad! One good thing about it, I had my husband leave about 4 ft. of the stumps and I put a big flower pot in the middle of the stumps and planted supertunias in it, it was beautiful!!! I had so many compliments on it. But I feel your pain!
