The capacity is still the same Demo! ;) Just has lower voltage! You now have 2500 mah 2s battery Edit: those cell 2500 mah cells are wired in series to increase voltage! Would be different if they were wired in parallel

One of the best ideas I have seen for separating cells is to use dental floss to separate the cells without damaging them.

may i ask what type of protective plastic for that protective coatings? i'm gonna make a split lipo for my airsoft as the pre-split is pricey as hell

It's good practice to drain the battery as low as safely possible before doing a job like this in case of a fire. The more these lipos are charged the bigger fire they make, if they do combust. Good video though.

It’s safe enough to do just done this to a pack of mine. I’d drain it to 3volts per cell first. And make sure the front door it’s unlocked incase you need to leg it
