I had to replace the instrument cluster on a 2013 Camaro because it was intermittently acting up. I was able to use the Xtool scanner to correct the mileage of the odometer.

@@737mechanic Many states quit collecting odometer numbers after so many years or miles. I just did a registration on a 2007 with 50k miles in Texas. Nothing! And I wanted that info on the title! I got a great deal on the car, but they were more interested in screwing me on sales tax they didnt deserve! Greedy bastards!

I have a 2015 ss. It has 45 k. I am fixing my first blend door now. 😅. Mine is manual, i am scared 😱, i know GM has some surprises waiting for me..suks being a gm customer, we are punished for loyalty. Now i get ready 😢to.cut plastic so.i havw freaking heat

Should the cluster be from an automatic Camaro? if my car is automatic, or it doesn’t matter if it is manual or automatic?

Unless you have or know someone with one of these tools I am not sure what else you can do. If you are in the Dallas Texas area I would be willing to see if I can do anything.

My cluster has a dirty glass. Did u see any screwss to remove the glass to change out the glass only. I spilled some dash board cleaner and went inside glass

The lens part should be able to be unscrewed or unclipped to clean or replace.

@@737mechanic thanks I really hope so. I already have that bezel off anyway since i was getting it repainted custom blue. So its a perfect time try to clean glass from inside. Do i have to unplugg battery to remove cluster? And to avoid any millage marking issue or is fine to remove and unplug cluster without battery being disconnected?

If I put 1 in that has 67,000 miles how do I get it adjusted to current mileage

Some shops can adjust it if they have the right tool. If you are in the Dallas area I can adjust it for you for a small fee.
