Mate excellent video! I'm about to do the exact same thing over on my channel to my 61 Ghia. Watching you do it is really helpful. All the diagrams you see on-line can be pretty confusing. Different story when you watch it being done 👍
Man, just have to say that your work is super inspiring! I recently acquired my family’s 1973 Ghia and this year is the year I get it back on the road. Following your build has given me the motivation to dig into this project! Awesome work, brother! Subscribed for the journey!
This comment just inspired me!!! So cool of ya Thanks for the comment and watching. If you post up the progress of your ghia be sure to let me know I’d like to see what your doing. If I can offer a tip. Remember that the completion of the build may seem like the gold prize but the path getting there is made of gold. Enjoy the struggle, the stress, take it one small step at a time and know if you mess something up... nothing is permanent. Just try again. I have to constantly remind myself this
thanks for giving me the confidence to attack the complete driverside heater channel on my 69'ghia. like u, i was overwheled, but u gave the balls to go for it. 4 that i thank you, KALA from HAWAII!!!!!!!!!!! ALOHA!!!!!!1
Hells Yeah brah! Thanks for watching are you posting this up anywhere? I figure if you mess up just try again LOL, Aloha hello or aloha good bye….. JK PEACE ✌🏼
@ 4:36 You've got the inner channel and the rocker panel but what about the center divider? There's supposed to be three layers of metal. The heater channel is an enclosed structure and the outer rocker sits over it.
Yep I got all three. I think for the right side of the car I’ll try to buy the whole heater channel as one piece. Even tho I’m not worried about having heat. We just need it for the strength
It was so satisfying watching that come off. I cannot BELIEVE that hive was in there. At first I thought it was snake skin. So crazy. Give it to the, she could probably make something with it
Here is the video where we brace it and start chopping away to fix the door pillar ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-GEHPxbjySQw.html thanks for watching so for the late reply, just getting back to the garage and RU-vid !
Can I get some help with my Ghia I’m in south Denver. Im willing to do most of the work as long as I have someone that knows what he’s doing to make sure I don’t royally mess it up
What a bummer! I took a break from the car and RU-vid to get moved. I am now in New Mexico, that would have been a blast to help out ! Well you can hit me up anytime on here. Recording this and getting feedback has been pretty helpful for me. Don’t forget at the end of the day its just nuts and bolts. Anyone can do it. Sometimes you just have to do it twice or three times or even four lol
