I like that you test the claw that receives the block to make certain it has no hidden problems and can bear the weight.

That was a satifying trim indeed. I could almost feel the relief myself when you put that soft foamy cream on the sore spot and gently wrapped it. I so wish I could know exactly how much better it felt to her afterwards. She walked so well out of the crush.

I remember starting to use these disks to trim horses hooves back in the mid 90s; it made the job so much easier and faster with most of the horses we owned.

That was great how they walked off together 😆

If my father was still alive he would be over 100 years. He grew up with dairy farms in Northern Ireland. He would have loved all this technology. Of course I would have had the lecture again about in the old days hand milking cows and all the rest. The farmers and workers had it seriously rough in those days. I love your videos. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

It's great to see these lovely animals get the comfort they deserve.. What really bothers me though, is that they are sent to slaughter after they are no longer having Calf's, and producing... Their producing life expectancy is from 3 to 5 yrs..😥😥 That really sucks...

Question - When you said that without the grinder everything was done with the hoof knife - Do they not use a rasp on cows feet? Why or why not? Such as we do on Horses hooves and donkeys and such as we use a similar if not the same hoof knife.

hello, Garth I was wondering if the paste is better then the powder? I watch alot of hoof trimming Channels, but here in the USA I have never seen anyone use the paste, just wondering, take care hugs
