It was so touching to hear you whispering when you knew the cow was trying to tell you it was hurting! You can't fake that kind of empathy! Such a true cowboy taking care of the herd! 🤎🐂🤍🐄🖤🐃❤️
Sir Tom it was wonderful to have you back. The love and care you have for those you trim is evident. Thank you for explaining what you are doing. A routine trim to you is an amazing experience to watch for us!!
i love watching this channel and hearing the lovely accents. You take loving care of the cows and to help us understand what you are doing expands my world.
I love the way the cows get more confident with the pain being less as they walk away after being trimmed and cared for. With every step most of the time you can see relief. Thank you for caring for cows. Thanks for sharing!
Poor Miss Cow…such a shame that her first trim showed such a bad case of digital dermatitis. Great trim! And thank you for answering the question I just asked on your latest vid about dew claws. ♥️🐄♥️🐄♥️
You are so more gentle working around lesions and you take your time to make sure it's less bloody unlike Geareth. You are soothing the cow throughout. Thanks for your kindness towards the cow 🐄 ❤❤❤
Thank you for making these videos. I have come to know that creating them is not easy and editing takes a long time. I sincerely appreciate each video that you post.
I've said it before. But it bares repeating. I love how Garrett and Tom have their own "style" of videos. Tom is more old school, technical instruction & commentary throughout the trim. While Garrett has that more contemporary voiceover and soothing music style. Both have their merits. And it makes the channel exciting to follow due to variety.
I love you Tom, you are so sweet to the cows, talking to them so softly and sweet to keep her calm when you know its hurting her, stay safe Tom and all of the other trimmers also🐄
I wish I could subscribe 10 times to this channel! It's always a treat when you get to be the star of the show, Tom. Greetings from Wisconsin, USA, where we have a cow or two.
GREAT video! Very informative. Thanks so very much for taking the time to make these videos. I am a huge fan of the channel! I must say that I loved you as Santa! While watching your videos, I admit to visualize you in your Santa suit and chuckle 🤭🤭🤭!
Poor thing. I know she in good hands with you guys. It just goes to show that, just like us, if things aren’t caught quick enough there are consequences
Great to see you young man. I would have looked right over that sore she had. It looked fine to me, till you started scraping away. All that poo....its just every where. Bless you both for putting up with it to help these cows. I sure couldn't do it. Thank you for explaining everything, both you guys are so good at that that's one reason I love to watch. Hope you have a great weekend and Blessing to you and your family. 🙏 ❤️🌹❤️🙏
This was such a great video! Your explanation of what was happening with dermatitis and how you trim to treat was very informative. Really appreciate it Tom.
You did such a great job as always! You guys are true pros of the industry. You guys, Nate, Graem and Midwestern Hoof trimmer are all amazing at what you do.
Thank you for going into some detail about the dew claws. The hefer's were rather low and did not appear to need any attention but on some of the older cows the dew claws are longer and to me could use a bit of attention for trimming.
Great video Tom. Thanks for explaining the trim . The information on the dew claws was very interesting. That little girl looked very comfortable after her trim even checking out the KVK. She was really comfortable around you & liked your company. Thanks for sharing with us. !
Well I guess just God knows purpose of dew claws. He is amazing in his creatures and the men and women like yourselves who care for them. Thank you for what you do for the cows and bulls. Amazing how that doesn’t hurt them as you trim. Love your accent.
Hiya Tom!thanks for the info on dewclaws, had been wondering about their relevance for some time now. Trust all continues well with you guys and families. Stay well and content 😊, Regards J.I.M.K Mrs. Australia 🇦🇺 😊 😀
Wonderful video. So many of us appreciate the gentle care you give those gentle cows. I know a dairyman who cursed & hit his cows. Made me cringe when i was told of it. Thanks for your empathy.
The Irish and Scottish pronunciations definitely got my attention ... pith-in and pii-in (that cow has suffering and pee-in) thought we were talking about hoof problems - but now talking bladder problems ... girls just need to stop pithin-in and pee-in on their hooves
wondering why the decision not to put block on the other hoof, seems it would help keep that infected one off the floor and not constantly having manure ground into it ?
Tom,have you ever used a dremel grinder on smaller spots, rather than the knives? My Mom used a dremel to carve bovine bone at our reservation, and it's a wonder precise tool. Tah!
I love learning from your videos, you’re a really good teacher. I do have a question- is this horn particularly tough, or hard, compared to the healthy horn you trim? There seems to be a lot more resistance and snap back to each cut-?
Does the dermatitus not creep between the wall horn and the corium? Does it comprimise the structural integrity of the foot if you were to remove wall horn?
