I'm still waiting on parts for my fuel tank and so I've decided to shed some weight and remove the crash bars that came with my BMW R1100R. They are nice Heed bars and while they seem to do a great job I'm happy to risk not having them and saving the weight.

weight saveing reminds me of the time my friend in conversation with a owner of a top sports bike with all the expensive weight saving expesive parts and bragging about how much lost the guy must have weighed 30 stone me being me i said it would be cheaper to go on a diet he was not a happy chappy but it made me laugh just saying

Once I've had a chance to get it up and running, I think I'll sell the guard. It needs a little love and clean up first before selling.
