Removing The Engine&Transmission From The 82 Chevy S10! (finally) 

Ended up being inside the trans cause when I swapped this whole setup in my truck it wouldn't work either with that same 3 speed trans . So something was different bad inside cause it would blow a fuse inside the truck for my gauges with it hooked up

That's a good question but however if it's not a 2.8 82 model then probably not cause the crank is different. An which sucks as why the 85 model 2.8 I can't use crank bearings for it cause they changed it later on There's way more parts an thing that u can get for a 92 2.8 like I have put away with no issue so guess it's just one of those things to keep older cars off the road or not enough of them bought so they just quit making certen parts. Like... I can't even get a simple air cleaner base gasket for the 85 2.8 or a oil pressure switch anymore ha like I said it's getting bad about parts It's getting hard to find parts for my girlfriends 94 blazer 4.3 which is nuts just alot is discontinued.

Honestly i need to just to look into 3.4 swap from a camaro. Or even better the 4.3 swap cause of this is gonna even harder to get parts for it . I found one today at the junkyard with 135,000 Miles that looks to be a perfect swap that was wrecked . They want $600 bucks for it all engine&transmission

@@KnuckleHeadGarage27 Hopefully you can get that 4.3 motor and transmission you mentioned. $600 is a lot of money but I still think that's a heck of a deal for nowadays. I look forward to watching the swap!

@@willcruz3198 yeah the main thing is I need a whole lot to swap that too an that makes it harder . One biggest thing is the $600 for it all that is a bit pricey an only 30 day warranty on both items. Would be cheaper but I'd need all the belt drive accessories as well the wiring harness with ECM , fuel lines to the TBI but only certain models or years have exactly what I need for that . I need the Transmission crossmember , engine mounts , radiator , fan shroud , some of the exhaust

@@willcruz3198 I've been wanting that 4.3 for a long time but getting everything I want an need to do it an fir a certen price is hard an it stops me so I stick with the 2.8s cause no one cares for them or wants them so usually you can get them cheap enough Kills me I wish I could do something cause that's one hell of a perfect Donor in the junkyard an if I don't grab it then it will be crushed within a month an or someone will strip it or get it before me an with $ it more likely would be a bit before I could get my hands on that . 1 came in same condition wrecked an was a beautiful truck with dual exhaust an low mileage and damn if it wasn't stripped the next time I came back . Literally everything I wanted was gone..... Need to start me a go found ME account! LOL For this Truck swap
