So on this subject.... I can't figure out how Ellis Dee got the isolated vocal from Rose Royce for the track 'Ooh Boy' as when I've tried phase cancellation on it the file was no where near as clean and there's no accapellas (that I can find anyway).back in 94 they didn't have this tech so I'm wondering what wizardry they used.

why not to use m/s technique? S1 imager do his work! Just isolate the left channel where the bells sit, then just wide the drums as u want =)
