I cut some paper around her eyes and stuck it on them and sprayed her with mister super clear 4 or 5 times and now she isn't completely matte but she has a very pretty subtle shimmer on her but if you want her completely matte just add another layer

She looks so much better without the blush and shine. Maybe that's why I don't like normal Bella, I don't like her looking all sweaty

I’ve been tempted to remove shine from my Bella. I knew that plastic plus the heat was going to mess up her eyelashes. Better to carefully wrap her head with plastic wrap so you can control it from pushing her eyelashes down. I wonder if just a rubber band pulled down below her lashes would have held her hair down as needed. I was surprised to see you using those big pads to wipe her face instead of Qtips. I found some mini versions of Qtips that nail stylists use, to use for tight/small areas. Having said all that, thank you, she looks wonderful!

The lashes go back to normal on its own. The eye lashes went crazy on my Jade but they go back to normal on there own.💜

I only have a couple dolls the only one with the shiny face was Kia Heart, well she’s not shiny anymore. She isn’t completely smooth like Bella but she looks great and apart from a little lipstick and an eyebrow I feel I did a good job, she looks much better can’t wait to dress her up!

Here's another tid bit , what about dipping a Q-tip in acetone for more intricate removal around eyes and lips

Maybe instead of the plastic you could use Jades hat. I use it to flatten the hair and it also doesn´t bend the eyelashes.
