Washing 5 Shadow High dolls! (Rainbow high spin off)| Zombiexcorn 

Believe it or not. A Clothing steamer works wonders! If you don’t wanna dunk your doll in hot water just prompt them up and pass the steamer along the hair for a few seconds (avoiding the rubber band) this is a method I use when I’m styling dolls hair, you can do it to curl, straighten, position a dolls hair without the need of dunking in water or using gel and having the curling rods pop off or having the hair set strange because if the weights the water adds. Best part is the hair drys literally within a few seconds so you never have to wait 24hrs for everything to set in place like you would for a boil dunk. I’ve NEVER had any issues with melting of hair (since the hair becomes moist from steam just don’t use around flocked hair tho lol) but just so I’m not liable test a strand of hair lol. but yeah. My Nicole definitely has way more hair than yours does. I was actually super impressed when I unboxed mine. Sounds like they may have had some quality control issues with several dolls in this line.

My favorite is Luna though Heather is gorgeous as well. Haven’t seen the others in real life so I can’t really judge them because to me Luna and Heather look so much better in person than they do online. I don’t really have space to unbox my dolls though so my Luna is going to stay boxed.

Thaaaaaaaaaank you so much for this!!!! I wanted to see what I could do to reset my dolls' hair after a nice wash! Hubby got me Luna, Natasha, and Heather yesturday. I was worried about using the boiling method because I wasn't sure if it would ruin their hair so thank you! Oh random thought perhaps if you have or find one with really nasty dry hair try soaking the hair in a good fabric softener? One other random thought, instead of a watered down hair gel try something called setting lotion. I use it a LOT for vintage wet sets on my actual hair and it is a dream to work with! I usually find it at Sally's. Anyways thank you again!!

I got natasha for christmas, and recently got costume ball violet as an early birthday present, and your washing videos helped sooo much because my violet had tons of gell, and natasha’s hair just felt bad and fried until i boil washed it. It helped the hair a lot but its now mostly straight.

I'm most definitely going to wash Heather, Luna, Ash and Nicole's hair. Luna's hair feels so bad, I thought of returning her. Heather's white side isn't straight like the black side and it's frizzy. Nicole's hair looks fab with all the curls so I want to do that. Ash's hair is badly gelled making his layers (did anyone's Ash have layered hair?) look horrible! Like you Jay, I don't like Natasha at all, so I didn't get her. I used to change my dolls' hair when I was younger, but these dolls are so beautiful, I'm afraid of hurting them. if you want really wavy hair you can just do tighter braids to get a more noticeable wave. I've only worked with human hair so this may not be a technique that works for dolls, but I figured i'd drop a tidbit of my limited knowledge where I could

i did what you did for Nicole with my Bella Parker doll, and it isnt really turning out how i want it :( i dont have paper for the curls so i just wrapped the hair around the curler and it seems to work?? i put her hair under hot water last night, dried her hair a little, and left her in the freezer overnight lol. i guess that might be the problem but im redoing it now.

i feel like this is the right time to ask... so i have this sheryl and her hair is frizzy af and as much as i try with TONS of conditioner i cant take her frizzyness out (same issue with georgia hair) but i gotta admit i had the stupid idea of giving both of them a boilwash.....ANYWAYS, any tips on how to fix this?
