I dedicate this truely jewel of my private collection - and never seen before - document to ONEGIN65. This recital took place in the 'Palau de la musica' in may 1999. Please note that this fabulous rendition was actually the last of the 6 'encore' that the divine Renée granted to her audience on that memorable occasion !! This was the first time Renée was confronting this utterly difficult and 'connaiseur' audience ... and you can see and hear their response to her !!! I remember vividly that hours after the end of the concert los 'aficcionados' continued to sing and shout like crazy in the streets aroud the house ... I hope that Renée will not blame me to share this unforgettable moment with all of you there !... she of course has a copy of the recording, and knowing her generosity and kindness, I feel pretty confident that she will graciously forgive me ...

I always thought that having the possibility to see BOTH the original text and a translation in our native language was the best way to fully appreciate an opera performance ... it requires a lot of time for the initial "time stamping" of the original language, but with the help of IA, I found a way to construct and include the translations in a much more feasible and less time consuming way ... if you find some improvements that could be done in the translation into your native language, please feel free to comment ... . If you would like another language, please let me know too and I will do my best to add it ...
