This 3part trilogy from Ren hit home for me. It is hard to watch every time. I can tell you that my Daddy raised me to be an extremely strong & independent woman. Despite the circumstances I had as a child when he was deployed. I felt that I would be that strong female once in the real world on my own. Sadly I faced very severe situations once on my own; it was brutal for a bit. My Daddy was not aware for some time. It took years & lots of therapy before I was able to tell him. He was devastated that & felt he failed me. Please understand that once in certain situations you/we as the parents can only do so much. I actually enjoy the reactions with your wife. It is obvious that the camera and the "exposure" are not comfortable for her, however she does enjoy sharing the moment with you and helping you with your work by lending you her perspective. This was excellent! I felt so bad for Becca when she was so nervous at first and almost didn’t want to say what she thought happened to Jenny even though she got it. But luckily she seemed to relax as it went on and gained more confidence in her interpretations. And clearly she got it. Also she might worry about not showing “enough” emotion when concentrating, but it was clear as day how she felt when hearing about Violet’s childhood and everything she went through. Hope you bring her back for more Renactions! Oh and of course congratulations to both of you.

Great reaction, I think “the Tales” are not as popular as many of Rens other videos is because some are put off by it being over 13 minutes long but they don’t realise that it’s 3 different songs all connected, I’ve done a breakdown of all the main characters with my theories of how they are all connected on my YT

One of the things that most people miss: The same way he “Rewound the hands of time”, While he was on the hospital bed. He forwarded the hands of time right after “Not one word, she stays silent” Taking us to the scene at the hospital. (I didn’t catch it myself, until the third time I watched it) He REALLY is a GENIUS, in his approach to music, as he crafts his storytelling!

A bit different style of music but I know you would both really like The Warning. Three sisters from Mexico that are gonna be one of the biggest bands in the world. Mark my words I'm serious. You would especially like there 2nd album Queen Of The Murder Scene. It's a concept album about a a girl's unrequited love, then her stalking him, murder, and madness. The whole album is on there yt channel, it was performed at Lunario in high quality. Or just start with the song Evolve from MTV VMAs a few months ago if you want to see what there about.

IMHO the Tale of Jenny and Screech is a Three Act Shakespearian Tragedy, in the style of the wondering minstrel bard. Ren has self identified his music as bard core, so that is confirmed. This is an ancient style of music; that goes right back through the wondering minstrel bards of the middle ages. The works of Chaucer sung in the Wife of Bath's ale house. And back to the Dark Ages of Anglo Saxon epic poetry of Beowulf, on through the Greek Homeric tales of The Iliad and The Odyssey and the beginning of the Choir. This form of story telling probably goes all the way back to Ugg twanging his Bow to woo the Chiefs Daughter or complain about the Chief stealing the meat from his hunt, at the hut of the Widow Ale Wife, where he and others would congregate to let off steam and tell tales of epic hunts; to then draw on the local cave walls, like the graffiti in The Tales. The music acted in part as interlude/intro as well as melodic emphasis and sound effects for the story. Also I think you spotted Ren's use of locational reverb in the sound engineering. They also got lucky with the Seagulls in part of the song which then was deliberately left in and emphasized in the mix. All of that indicates the intellectual level of the performance production in this piece of art.

The best thing people could come up with is your face is non-expressive? 😂😂 people need to look in the mirror before they start thinking anything like that. You are beautiful and your face is expressive enough. whoever is saying that please stop. And Ren purposely writes his songs for the individual interpretation by the viewer. However you look at it, you can’t be wrong. This is one of the reasons I personally think he is an amazing storyteller. I literally had to listen to this multiple times before I got it. We are all so invested in his voice and guitar that the lyrics didn’t make sense to me at first.

I'm a huge fan of the channel and the Ren and Big Push reactions are my favorites. But editing the language in these types of songs is at best distracting and at worst takes the way the song hits you away. Not sure why you did it but hopefully it's not a trend. As far as people "getting something" or not... that's NOT why I watch reactions. The ONLY value (to me) in reaction videos is seeing someone who isn't me experience something I've experienced. Obviously if it's an artist I love I want the reactor to love them too. But MOSTLY I just want to see other people's reaction (whatever it is). Also...your face is PERFECTLY animated for YOUR face. You're the expert on your facial expressions. The ONLY expert.

I think what makes this interesting is that he never specifically says that Jenny or screech die. It’s insinuated and I assume that’s what happened, but I have heard reactors sort of interpret it as if they didn’t die and leave it as a cliff hanger. Either way, it’s a great story because he conveys is so well and makes you sympathetic even to the villains.

Violet moved out on Welfare at 16, considering what her Father did to her, Jenny and Screech may actually be her Half Siblings as well, explaining why she has a "Welfare Flat" at 16. Jenny is just like Violet as she never says a word when Screech attacks her, and Screech, just like Violet's Father has a Violent Temperment. A True Terrible Masterpiece!
